I found the hotel located well to me since I was coming for an academic trip to the University. I loved the reception and staff with whom I interacted. Breakfast was excellent as well and served timely

It is as expected from a brand like Scandic, you get your moneys worth. The rooms are tidy and elegant. Booking and accomodation from staff was smooth and easy, no trobles. Parking was a little interesteing, you get to park on from of the hotell to get your bags out, but then you have to drive 5 min to a parking ground witch is free and only a 3-4 min walk away from the hotell.

Very friendly and service oriented staff. Reasonable price incl breakfast, and in my opinon a unique hotel in terms of recepteion area and how "outdoor buildings / houses" have been "built together" with a fantastic design and construction, giving me an "outdoor feeling" with a transparent roof enabling daylight to brighten up the area and at the same time having the good and warm inside temperature.

Very nice hotel in the center of Grimstad. The room was nice, with a good view. Though it is within walking distance of several restaurants and bars, it was quiet. The breakfast was, as with many Scandic hotels, excellent. We were able to park for free at a nearby church, a 5 min walk away.

The hotel had a nice location in the city center of Grimstad, Good service, quiet environments and fantastic breakfast is some of the superlatives from our stay in Grimstad. We lock forward to visit Grimstad again.

Friendly staff that answers questions before and during the stay. Good and healty breakfast during the whole week. If you are planning a trip to Grimstad, Scandic Grimstad is a safe and good choise of staying.

The location is great and central and the staff are kind and welcoming. However, as for the quality of room and cleaning there is much to be desired. Having just gotten married and desiring to retire for the night to relax from a long and exhausting day, we were greeted by a common area which was bombed. Half-empty glasses, and the smell of a toilet which had not been properly flushed. The roof-terrace contained empty bottles and cans. It should be mentioned that this area was just outside our room and so couldn't be avoided. The room itself was poorly cleaned, with several visible stains in the bathroom and an old can of shaving-cream left over from a former guest still remaining in the room. Suffice it to say, we were left wondering what else had not been properly cleaned prior to our arrival.

Hotel is nice located in Grimstad, near restaurants, quey side, football, and for walk. Nice terrasse on the top of the hotel, with a nice view. Nice people working at the hotel. Also very good breakfast. All over very good and would like to come back :)
