One of the best setup, was a shame I was down w a cough and could not enjoy fully. Definitely worth coming back here.

It is a stopover during the journey from Queenstown to Greymouth.

Comfortable beds, I had a really good sleep. Great room amenities except that there is no individual fridge in room and the shared fridge in the common area is small. Just few minutes drive away from the city center. There is a restaurant run by the hotel, price is on the higher end but food is just so-so.

Room is practical and clean. We had a great view towards the sunset. Service cold and almost non existent . Don’t eat at the restaurant . Quality of food is poorest we have seen in NZ in a very long time.

Do not recommend dining in the bar. As I was heading to the beach to watch the sunset, I asked for the pie in the case and was told I will have a 45 mins wait along with other diners! There is another restaurant before Heartland where the fish n chips was really good. Had it for lunch.

Clean, good value for money, and decent onsite restaurant/bar.

The hotel in Hokitika offered a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of activities. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, offering helpful recommendations and warm hospitality.

Good motel style hotel room, although rather dated and worn so not quite as nice as in the pictures! Staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the on site bar/restaurant nice

The Queen rooms seem to offer more than the King rooms for some reason. But generally the place was pleasant to stay.
