very high-end apartment type of lodging. super clean and bright, kitchen comes with relevant useful amenities. paid extra 10,000yen for an upgraded room upon check-in

This was my first time staying at this hotel. After a fairly tough hike, I needed a quiet and comfortable place to rest and I found it. A newly built hotel with a relaxing location and stylish rooms with good decorations and suitable for the environment and pretty wide room in a convenient location near the Japanese Alps, which is a good place to stay during the hiking season and in the winter near the ski slopes. The rooms have a kitchen with basic necessities, as well as a large refrigerator and a washing machine. And a large balcony with a great view of the mountains and the local village. The rooms have good quality amenities and a good service for making fresh coffee - not instant - that you can enjoy drinking a cup of fresh coffee while watching the surrounding scenery from the balcony of the room. The hotel staff is well-mannered and kind and completes the check-in process with a fresh juice as welcome drink and a small local pastry. All the staff at the reception and in the restaurant are very polite and welcoming to the guests. The food served in the restaurant is made from quality local ingredients with locally grown vegetables irrigated from the waters of the Japanese Alps, giving you more pleasure than eating at a luxury hotel. My advice is to stay at this hotel for more than one night to fully enjoy the surrounding scenery, as well as the beautiful mountains of the Japanese Alps and the numerous cable cars that can take you to the heights. My regret was that due to lack of time, I was not able to use the hotel's rental bicycles, which could definitely show me more of the beauty.

We do really love this hotel. It’s on our special occasion and they contacted us prior to arrive if we want to have cake. They also arrange a hand written card which is very cute. The room is spacious with nice decoration, room also have a kitchen and dining area with ding tools. Staff is very helpful and friendly, we planned for a cherry blossom but it’s too soon. She recommends us for a nearby town with full bloom period. I can’t remember her name but she’s great. For next time in Hakuba, we’ll surely stay here again!

Hotel La Vigne Hakuba was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel has a beautiful minimalist design and feels clean, cozy, and very welcoming. Both the lobby and rooms were pleasantly scented, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The concierge team was extremely helpful and the overall service throughout the stay was excellent. The room was spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully designed with a very functional layout. The bedding was also very comfortable. The hotel also provides excellent facilities for skiers, including a dedicated storage and locker room for ski equipment, as well as a separate shower room where guests can freshen up and change after skiing on the day of check-out. Overall, a fantastic stay at Hotel La Vigne Hakuba — highly recommended.

The hotel is new so I think that’s why the service is really lacking. It was really hard to communicate via email. There’s no set bus shuttle from the hotel - you’ll have to pre-book if you need a ride to the Hakuba Station if you wanna do some shopping. There’s also no convenience store nearby and the nearest is about 2KM walk away….

Service was in general good. Most staff can speak English and were very helpful.  We booked their teppanyaki restaurant but due to a member being sick, we cancelled it one day ahead.  However, we were then being told that there is a 50% charge which was not explained to us when we made the booking.  After some back and forth, they finally agreed to waive it.  Appreciated that but it was a hassle.  The apartment is nice and juices and water were included in the fridge.  There's no onsen nor swimming pool nor a gym in the hotel.  Breakfast was good with lots of varieties.  Location is excellent within walking distance to the Main Street in Echoland where most restaurants are.  Hotel provides shuttle buses to Happo One and Hakuba 47.  

Spacious, clean and well furnished. Team of staff was very helpful and took good care of guests. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle bus to Hakuba 47 and happo one which was really convenient. They also do transfers to hakuba JR station and bus station. It’s nearby to the other public shuttle bus stops to get to other ski resorts.
