Avis : Novotel Ha Long Bay Hotel

Nous avions booké un hôtel 4* pour être sur de se reposer après une longue journée de voyage. Nous avons été déçu car personne pour nous accueillir, porter les bagages. Dans la chambre, des murs sales et des taches sur le canapé. Pas de table basse pour le second lit. Bien que l’on adore les enfants, il y en avait beaucoup qui criaient et couraient dans tous les sens dans le hall d’entrée, difficile de se poser au calme. Et surtout difficile après ne pas avoir dormi. Il y avait un évènement sur la grande place devant l’hôtel. Ça a fait trembler les murs durant la soirée, la nuit jusqu’au petit matin et ça a repris à 8:30. Le bruit était tellement fort que n’avions pas eu envie de nous balader en bord de mer. Nous n’avons quasiment pas dormi de la nuit. Des poubelles devant l’hôtel, très dommage. Très déçu.

J'ai visité l'hôtel le 26 (10) décembre et n'ai vu que deux clients pendant les deux jours où j'ai séjourné à l'hôtel. Il n'y avait aucune information sur la vue par la fenêtre lors de la réservation. Je pense désespérément à l’hôtel où j’ai séjourné à Thanh Hoa la veille.

Location at city centre with small night bazaar just opposite the hotel. Hotel room very comfy and stayed for a night after ha long bay cruise. There are food nearby within walking distance - a dong restaurant

Nice hotel but very old property. Decent stay for traveller who do not expect luxury or a modern experience. Good location makes it a preferred hotel among many regular travellers.

Beautiful hotel interior, stunning views, service is great and speak English. Rave parties at the beach affect hotels in this location. No regulations to keep sound down after 11am. Could not fall asleep until 1am, when the sound finally stopped. Would love to stay again, but city should sort this noise factor out.

This hotel boasts a convenient location and spacious rooms, although the bathrooms could be cleaner. The toilets lack hand sprayers or bidets, requiring the use of toilet paper. The air conditioning in the rooms is somewhat outdated and not very effective at cooling. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, most of which are satisfactory; however, I would prefer fewer dishes with a higher quality, similar to the breakfast at the Fansipan View Hotel. Overall, I would rate this hotel as three stars. The staff are helpful and accommodating. Please be aware that a nearby beach club plays loud music until 11:00 AM, which may disturb light sleepers.

I stayed at this hotel because I am familiar with Novotel in Jakarta, Indonesia. I got a 10% discount by using Trip Coins. I really enjoy es my stay at Novotel Ha Long Bay. 1. The room is extremely spacious. I would say that 3 people moving around would be no problem at all. The bed is also large. 2. The amenities are superb, I got all I need and some of those are eco-friendly items. 3. Not only the bedroom, the bathroom is spacious too. Wow! 4. The staffs are humble and understanding. At first I requested a late checkout until 12.30, yet I changed it to 13.00 because I just got back from my friend’s wedding. Furthermore, they always helping me order Main Linh taxi. 5. Squeaky clean!!! I love clean property!!! Unfortunately, there is no bidet. Indonesians use bidet daily. There is no option a of Halal food, yet it is okay, that is just common in Vietnam. Overall, my experience was impressive to the point I even take photos for the purpose of reviewing how good this hotel was.

The service and environment are excellent

Stayed here for 3 nights,nice spacious clean rooms. Bathroom products where good quality and smelled really nice. Don't recommended sea facing rooms due to noise and light from a large night club on the beach. Close to a few places to eat and walking distance to the wharf where to boat trios go from and more restaurants.

We went off season - February and it seemed like we were the only ones in the hotel. The staff were few and young so service was ok but considering so few people we had to hunt down staff for food and drinks.

Good experience near to the market and beach area

Very good breakfast and the rooms were spacious. Good value for money
