This home is such an Amazing place to stay!The history inside brings takes you back to the time of the “Civil War” each room is cozy and comfortable, the property is perfect. Even though we had rain we still had the opportunity to enjoy the quiet of the beautiful nature and the kind wilderness animals. The host was so kind. AMAZING Stay!!
Wow, where do I even start! We had an amazing time! We were in town for a baseball tourney and enjoy creating experiences for our children! The wildlife rescue was so beautiful - the work this team does is simply amazing! Even had the team over for a cookout and enjoyed a family wiffleball game in the front yard! Loved every second of our time! Thanks so much!

Amazing property and historical home!!
So wonderful to stay on this peaceful property out in the country. It feels so special to stay in a home with such rich history. The old trees and birds chirping in the morning was the best thing. One of my favorite places! Thanks so much Jeff for opening your home and this special land to us :)

What a cool experience
Very unique property. Very well kept. Jeff was a great host. Left us a detailed list of places to see and go to. It’s a great quite get away. Highly recommend if your looking to unplug and get away.

Wonderful secluded retreat
Our family came into E-town for a baseball tournament for our oldest son and stayed at the Bland-Overall house. Jeff and Mary were incredibly accommodating and thought of all the details for our stay to make us feel welcome. The house and property were amazing! Our family’s favorite thing was the Nolin River Wildlife. It is a must see while staying on the property. The seclusion and quietness were such a treat for our family. The boys played lots of whiffle ball in the front yard and did a lot of fishing. I definitely recommend this property!

Perfect pick
Mary and Jeff Key were wonderful!
The house is better than pictured. We chose this property due to the proximity of our sons Elizabethtown Ripken baseball tournament. All six of us enjoyed every bit of Glendale and the house! We slept remarkably well. Our son’s teammates visited, we grilled and kids played wiffleball. We had a fantastic opportunity to visit Mary and the Nolan wildlife rescue several times during the week. The Rescue was actually a highlight of our trip. We highly recommend staying here and having the opportunity to meet Mary and Jeff. If we have an opportunity to return to Glendale, we will circle back and meet up with the Key family. Thank you for having us!

A perfect getaway
We stayed in Glendale for our sons week long baseball tournament in Elizabethtown. It was a perfect escape after each day full of games. The house was charming and the land was so peaceful. We even had the entire team over for a cookout and all the boys loved being able to play some whiffle ball and see deer in the yard!

Peaceful Bliss!
We had a lovely stay! This beautiful, historic house has the feel of a comfortable family home, with beautiful views of the countryside from every window. Mary and Jeff were amazing hosts. We have already booked our return visit.
