Na een fietstocht van Lelystad naar Steenwijk had ik een kamer in dit hotel. Prachtige kamer heel goed bed, mooi sanitair en een ruim voldoende ontbijt. De volgende dag kon ik na nog een fietstocht in de omgeving, me nog verkleden in dit hotel. Goed en aardig personeel.

The hotel pictures in de adds are beautiful, in real live it is less of a beautiful building in its surrounding (especially in fall on a rainy day) but that is not really what matters. The check in at the reception was surprisingly short and we were good to go to our room that looked perfectly clean. The room was far from warm and the heater could not fix this. The fish heads on the wallpaper were far from appealing to us. The functional light on the ceiling and next to the bed have no dimming function - hence the word functional! So sitting in the bright and cold lighted room and have a drink an a chat is not attractive. But beside the lights, the two chairs (iron and plastic wire) are far from comfortable (hard/no pillows). So the interior itself with the colors and furniture laks warmth. The floor is made from laminated PVC I guess which makes it even colder (but clean). So what you do, you go out and will definitely find your comfort in the restaurant/bistro. The restaurant is a lovely place to be and have a nice dinner. We were served very well by friendly staff. I must admit that the hotel staff - they are the same - were very friendly as well. It is exactly like what others write about. Good wine and good food, lots of people form around having a drink (bistro function) or share a meal (restaurant function) in this nice warm ambiance. When it was time for bed we went back to our fish-room. The beds are two separate beds with plastic wheels which easily drift the beds apart. So each should stay on his side or you both stay on one if you want to be close for a while. The bed itself was good, nice cover/sheets. Pillow was to thin but I think there was a spare one. The shower was great! Spacious and bright. The sink smelled. This is because unfortunately the extra (over load) chamber in the sinks tends to fill with soap bubbles when washing your hands. And this is a perfect spot for fungus to grow. Hard to clean as well, so we do understand this is forgotten. Just have a sip from the running tap and you will know ;-) It all/ the room looks like it is new, just redecorated. To our opinion it could have some finishing touches to make it more perfect. Make it more warm would be our advise. Breakfast in the morning was great! No complains at all. This is organized in a warm looking room. Great coffee! We would definitely recommend this clean hotel if you need to visit this area/city. The people who work here do an honest job with a personal touch. We like that! I think they like it there as well.

Hotel magnifique! Situation parfaite à côté de la gare, et courte promenade dans la ville. Très grande, confortable chambre avec un petit balcon et un espace de séjour. La chambre a toutes les équipements, y compris un sèche-cheveux et un café/tée. Recommander et restera certainement là encore.

Jusqu'à quelques années, le sommeil à Leeuwarden a été le sommeil dans la chambre d'hôtes de ma mère. Je me souviens de l'ancienne poste, alors quand j'ai vu qu'elle avait été transformée en un hôtel de luxe de quatre étoiles, je l'ai réservé tout de suite (même sans avoir vérifié le tripadvisor que je fais toujours). Le petit déjeuner est très bon marché, le petit déjeuner est très bon marché, le petit déjeuner est très bon marché, le petit déjeuner est très bon marché. Ils ne font que mettre en garde que le fait qu'il n'y a pas de place pour mettre vos vêtements. Il n'y a qu'une chaise et aucune table. D'autre part, il y a beaucoup de crochets pour les pendre et l'excellent (pluie)douche est une sorte de salle de balle en elle-même. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant, bien que nous ayons eu une bière à la brasserie, mais regarder tous les gens heureux dans le restaurant vendu, je pense que c'est assez bon. Nous avons dîné dans les voisins. Le restaurant de Steef, très nouveau mais vraiment étonnant. Bien, la recherche d'un bon hôtel à Leeuwarden est le bon endroit pour aller. Il est juste au cœur de la ville. Tout ce que vous voulez faire est à pied.
