Rivoli Jardin Hotel

A nice little hotel on a very good mid downtown location. Rivoli Jardin has a nice atmosphere a bit on the bohemian side. Cosy room (big plus for the sofa) and excellent breakfast. I would imagine the inner court yard would be a perfect place to hang out with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on summer time.

When I came to a hotel the atmosphere feld very nice and cosy. The room was very quiet and I slept very well. It was little hot and I coudn't adjust the room temperature. I assume that in the summer rooms are very hot. For 8 weeks I haven't slept more than 4,5h in two or three parts because my toddler is theething so I went to a hotel to get some sleep. I asked to a receptionists to make sure that they remembered to give me a quiet room as I have asked. Suddenly the receptionist wasn't so friendly and snap at me that every room here is in the same direction and this is downtown and we can't affect the customers. This hurt my feelings and almost made me cry. The breakfast was simple but very good and I didn't want anything more. The receptionist in the morning didn't seem very friendly either. They could smile more. All in all this could have been my regular hotel because its so quiet but I feld very unwelcome and like I was bothering them so that's why I woudn't recommend it. I also didn't like that they didn't ask how was my stay.

The hotel is charming with a courtyard that is perfect for a quiet drink with friends and a convenient central location. When I realized my backpack was missing, the hotel staff sprang into action. They checked with the taxi and airport lost and found often and gave us updates, they were sincerely concerned. After we left Helsinki, they continued the search and emailed us daily. Fortunately the backpack was found and the hotel graciously handled the paperwork necessary to send it back to us in the States. I am grateful for their caring and persistence in getting the backpack back to me.

Great location, fantastic garden and a clean, comfortable room. Visiting Helsinki for the first time to take part in the Helsinki marathon the Rivoli Jarden was an excellent choice. Located less than a 5 minute walk to port area and central shopping it made for an excellent stay. Our room was clean with a comfortable bed and excellent wifi. Breakfast had a wide range of options. Staff were always available and happy to help. Tip, if the weather is good take an hour or so to sit out in the garden. Helsinki is a great city to visit for a few days. Plenty to see and do

We had a 3 night stay here when visiting Helsinki for the Ed Sheeran concert. The hotel is Ina great location, just a short stroll to the Esplanade,Senate Square and the port where the boat trips depart from. The rooms are a decent size, ours overlooked the courtyard, and we had a wonderfully comfortable superior sized bed. The “bathroom” was small having only a shower rather than a bath and it was somewhat dated - but perfectly fit for use. Breakfast was great with a wide range of foods for all tastes - my only disappointment was that the coffee wasn’t great but there are several good coffee shops within a short walk of the hotel. The best thing about the hotel was the service. All the staff were really helpful but Elena stood head and shoulders above them all - she was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for her.

A lovely, quiet and superior hotel. Beautiful room, comfortable bed, nice armchair, sound-proof window. Excellent service. Stuff at the hotel is great and pays attention. A supermarket is next door. There is a general manager lady who is under full control of everything, very helpful and decent. Breakfast was great and Finnish.
