South Mimms/Potters Bar

Could not fault our stay at this hotel. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. The accessible room with wet room was very clean and tidy. Our bed was very comfortable. My wife and I both enjoyed our meals in the restaurant. There was a good selection on the menu. I recommend the burgers.

Great location for what we wanted at a reasonable price, parking is an additional cost! The cleanliness really needs improving, there were stains and marks everywhere in my room and someone’s used water bottle under the bed (room 2). Not only that but there were moths too. The only reason I didn’t complain was it was a quick stay and honestly both times I had a minute to talk to someone at reception no one was there. The staff I did happen to see during the stay though were friendly.

Good location with parking reasonable food available. Staff are trying their best to please. Ed the barman is improving every visit. After staff rotation, the ambience went down but is starting to return. Hopefully the laughter and fun will return

Diana is a gem very helpful goes the extra mile remembers us every year we come a credit to the team and makes our stay pleasurable nothing to much trouble always goes the extra mile always has a smile on her face and makes our stay all the better every year we come

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. This was actually a physical nightmare there were untold amount of kids running round the hotel screaming and shouting jumping off the window sills and tables in the bar where me and my husband were trying to relax. The situation was completely out of control. The running around was going on till gone midnight. Even In reception hoardes of children jumping off the customer chairs with their dirty feet and people have to sit on them, they were doing handstands and cartwheels all over the place. The behaviour was completely unacceptable. I will never visit this hotel again not one person stopped the out of control behaviour. This was not just a few children either. Nobody should have to put up with this all night and not be able to have a drink or meal in peace. My whole stay was ruined. Disgusted the lady manager did nothing and I also spoke to other guests who were not at all happy either. Not one member of staff asked for them to stop running around. Its a bar area not a playground and till at least gone 11pm is absolutely disgusting. Then still running round hotel past midnight. Hotel had no control.

Third time staying here on our annual stopover before travelling to France. Great hotel, food & service first class and a particular mention to Diana who remembered me from our last visit last year, absolute superstar, always has a smile on her face even though there was a large cheerleading group staying, she is a credit to Premier Inn. Have already booked for next year! Thanks again!
