Radisson Blu Hotel, Mount Erciyes

This hotel is really awesome and you have to book full board meal. Good food and value for what you pay.

Housekeeping. We took our room on the Monday afternoon with no issues, however the following day, I went skiing and my wife went to the gym, on her return to the room she noticed that some items that we had bought with us to give as presents were gone. My wife instantly went to find the chambermaid and asked where the items were, and she had taken them and put in the cleaners room for herself, after my wife spoke to the chambermaid she gave the items back.  However, this is not the chambermaid fault. It is the management and training of the staff to understand rules and procedures and standards. Ie with things such as how many times a week the bed needs to be changed,the room cleaned. This should be carried out by the cleaning staff daily, not when asked by my wife.  We only saw the supervisor once, and this was the day before we were leaving.  Restaurant and Bar. To start with, prior to our holiday, I contacted the hotel about menus and prices of which we were sent these on 20th Dec and was told that these are the menus and prices for the season. In the ski and lounge bar where we ate every evening and most lunchtimes there was a lunch and evening menu for these occasions. The evening menu and drinks were higher than what we had been sent prior to visiting. The veal steak on both menus were different prices, but it was exactly the same items served. So be careful with all prices because it was very expensive for the quality and standard served. Food and drinks served here were more expensive than most ski resorts we have been to in Austria, Switzerland, and France.  In this restaurant people at lunchtime were walking in with wearing there ski boots, and many people bringing there skis into the restaurant too, this was dangerous and the kit should be left outside in the appropriate areas. Again, if guests were told the rules, then this would not happen.  In the main restaurant we only had breakfast because we had only booked  B & B. So, on the breakfast open buffet, 80% of the food served was cold items.  The Chalet bar restaurant, on our first evening, we went into this lovely bar to watch the live music. However, we soon found out that nearly everyone was smoking. I thought smoking was not allowed inside a building.  Recreation, swimming pool, sauna, and steam room. Although the main indoor swimming pool is advertised as adults, only this is not the case at all. There were many, many children. The small outdoor hot pool was also for adults only, and this was not the case either.  The ski hire facility was very good, the staff were very friendly and helpful in all our needs.  Summary. With my wife and me working in the hospitality sector for many years, to us, it looked like the management of the hotel did not have any idea of standards and procedures for a 4-star hotel. Beautiful Ski Property Loved the stay…. Staff was awesome and really accommodating….

We truly enjoyed our stay in Radisson blu mount Erciyes. The hotel is brand new, modern and tasteful. The Kartin ski lift is now open which makes the access to the slopes and the neighboring gates (Develi and Tekir and beyond). The staff at the hotel was very friendly and hospitable. We would like to make a special reference to Ms. Nisa Akcali at guest relations, who during our stay was providing us information and assisting on any needs we might have but amazingly also helped us retrieve a lost item from the Kayseri airport after our departure. And for which we will be forever grateful. Thank you Nisa and the rest of the Radisson blu Mount Hotel! We will definitely see you soon!

Drove here to explore this hotel as I hear positive things about it. Unfortunately skiing season has not started yet but the hotel was beautiful and the views are awesome. The staff were very friendly and Taner work the receptions was very friendly and nice, providing information on what we could do here.

The staff was very attentive and friendly from the moment I arrived. The room was very nice and comfortable with all the amenities you could want in the bathroom. All the facilities are lovely. The ski rental/sales shop is huge and the staff was very helpful in assisting me in trying out boots and skis before I purchased. They also have a really nice high-end shop with a large selection of ski clothes and accessories.
