Just a short stroll from Jordan metro Station, Metacity Living is a much better alternative to the coffin sized guest rooms you find at Chungking Mansions down Nathan Road. It’s a spacious room with a comfortable double bed, a/c, refrigerator (a great inclusion for HK humidity) and a bathroom with a spacious shower recess. The staff were very helpful and even accepted the Chinese RMB as deposit as it’s pretty much now parity with the HKD. Only suggestion I would make is put a rubber light trap under the doors to completely darken the room, I had to drop a towel on the floor to stop 🛑 the light streaming in under the door. Metacity is a short stroll from Kowloon Gardens, some high end shopping malls and great local restaurants and bars on Kimberley Rd. If you fancy some Indian food, the little take away restaurants on the ground floor at Chungking Mansions do really good Briyani. There’s also Delaneys Irish pub for your dose of sport and pub food. I’d definitely consider staying here again.

Nice and the area is very convenient

Having stayed in many different hotels in Hong Kong I have got used to the small cramped rooms with very little in the way of service and poor staff attitude. This is my first time to come back to HK as a family so I looked for a hotel with a bigger room and could accommodate a 3 year old child and this hotel ticked all the boxes for me. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is only a 1 minute walk from exit D of Jordan MTR station on Nathan Road so there are lots of shops, restaurants, convenience stores, supermarkets etc.... within seconds of the hotel. The room size was over double the size of most of the other hotels I have stayed in so was perfect for my new family. Decent sized bathroom with an independent shower closet from the toilet so using the bathroom was not a struggle, most other hotels I have stayed in the shower , sink and the toilet are together in a closet size space so again ticked another box for me. But what really impressed me most about this hotel is the service, I can honestly say it has been the best service I have ever received out of all of the hotels I have stayed in Hong Kong. We arrived early on the day of check in (11:30) and went to the hotel with the intention of just leaving out luggage in the lobby until check in time (after 14:00) but was pleasantly surprised when the reception lady said she would see if she could allow us to check in early which she was able to do so again another box ticked for me. Finally the service I received from Susie after I realized I may have left one of my headphone ear pods in the room was above and beyond what you would expect. She checked with house keeping not once but twice to check if it had been found with a negative result, however she doubted this and went personally to the room I stayed in and found my headphone ear pod which she has put in reception for me to collect on my next visit. 5 star service :)

The location is great and staff are friendly. The bathroom seems not very clean (there are hairs in the shower area especially outside the plughole 去水位)

Decent sized room in HK especially for the price. Front desk was helpful and available at all times. Convenient location with mtr station within 3 minutes of walk. Walkable to tst in around 7 minutes. Soundproof not so great as you can hear moaning sounds every now and then throughout the day...and you do need to walk 1 flight of stairs before a lift is available to take you up to your room

The hotel location is good, near the MTR station and quite a lot of foods can be found nearby. Lift 1 feels like it would cease to function sooner or later, I hope the hotel will fix it. The feeling of the lift is like when your plane get into short turbulence. Cleanliness just so so, the room smell damp from the toilet. I get the triple room. No water bottle during my stay. Need to pay 10hkd in the reception for 1 bottle. You can find it cheaper in the store near the crosswalk for 5hkd.

Location is the only good thing about this hotel. The cleanliness is about 1 out of 10. Would not recommend staying here

The location was great, near malls and restaurants. The room was filthy, the bathroom was full of molds and hot water wasn’t available. The reception did not provide any help.

Stayed for 5 nights Short distance to MTR Spacious rooms compared to other hotels in this area The Malay english speaking lady staff were polite Room cleaned everyday but the carpet floor is not vacuumed, the toilet is not so clean especially the toilet bowl and shower door (not as pictured) Mattress is hard, pillow too soft and bedsheets got stain.

Average 3 star hotel good location don’t have water not so clean

The location of the hotel is great, with it being a few minutes away from the nearest MTR station. The room where we stayed at was also clean and all the amenities were working well. The elevator is a bit small and jumpy, but it can fit three people with three luggages okay. The staff were also very nice and accommodating, helping us hail a taxi going to the Airport Express terminal and even helped us carry our bags. Take note though that there is a staircase from the entrance leading to the reception, which can be hard especially if you have big luggages. Overall, we had a pleasant stay here.
