Premier Inn Honiton

Used this Premier inn as a halfway overnight stay whilst on our way for a family holiday in Cornwall with 2 small children. The staff was nice & warming also very helpful & the hotel room was clean & comfy ( apart from the pillow i had). Food was lovely & breakfast plentiful but be warned unlike other premier inn resturants this one doesn't except blue light discount even though its a Thyme restaurant which should, if I'd know before hand I would of taken thd upgraded meal deal & saved myself quite a bit of money.

I must admit from the outside it seemed very dark but as soon as we entered the place is lovely, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was spotless with a lovely comfy bed and free Wifi&parking. The thyme restaurant is stunning best mixed grill we've ever had and the breakfast was lovely too. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed for 5 nights at this premier inn and would like to give very high praise to Kieran who looked after us from the minute we got there until the day we left. He was so friendly and helpful and could not have done enough to help us. We give him very high praise, especially as they seem very understaffed so he was having to do everything from checking people in, serving at the bar, waiting on tables and even cooking breakfasts some mornings! I would say they definitely need more staff there to relieve the pressure on the existing staff. Jayne was very lovely, friendly and helpful too, in fact everyone there was so praise to all the staff there.

Used the Honiton Premier Inn the evening of arriving back from holiday at Exeter Airport. The price was excellent and the breakfast was even better than we expected from a Thyme restaurant in such a small hotel. As expected the staff were friendly and helpful as usual. We will use this hotel again.

I was checked into a room (103) that had not been serviced. I complained and was moved or room 3. All OK, I went out for dinner and found all my things had been moved to room 4. I was very upset and told somebody else was needed room 3. Not happy at all with the experience and invasion of privacy. I am sure whoever moved into room 3 would not have been happy that I had used that room part of the evening.

Top class all round. Room, staff, food. Lovely place to stay. My pick arrived at 13.30, and I had to vacate the room by midday. They allowed me to wait in the bar area and gave me coffee while I waited. The Exeter City FC supporting chap and his colleagues were a credit to Premier Inn.
