Lansdowne House Hove

I stayed here for one night as was attending a friends birthday nearby. I stayed in the Palm room which was very cute and at the back of the house so very quiet. It was tastefully decorated and came with a coffee machine and fresh milk which was fab. The bed was really comfy and I had a great nights sleep. It was only a short walk to the beach and about a half an hour walk along the prom the get to Brighton. Natalie made a lovely breakfast and was able to cater gluten free for me as a Ceoliac which was fab. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely return.

What a gem of a place! Ideally located for all main attractions in Hove and Brighton, 1 min walk down the road to the Beachfront Promenade. Natalie was very welcoming and helpful on arrival and was available if we needed anything. We stayed in the Green Room, which is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The King size bed was super comfy with gorgeous, high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and pillow cases. The bathroom has a lovely walk in shower with plenty of power and a deep free standing bath, ideal for a long soak. Well equipped rooms with bottled water, biscuits and a pod coffee making machine, with fresh milk in a Chilly bottle was replenished each evening. The breakfast choice was extensive and we had the choice of taking this in the garden room or in our room, where we chose to sit in the double bay fronted floor to ceiling windows, with the morning sun shining through. The cooked breakfast was superb and very well cooked, especially the poached eggs that were done to perfection! Overall we can’t recommend this place enough and we will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to the area. Thank you Natalie, we loved your hotel.

Staying at Natalie's charming and lovingly restored townhouse is like visiting a dear friend you didn't know you had! Natalie warmly welcomed us into her sumptuous and comfortable home and was graciously accommodating for an early checkin after a long haul flight. The bed was divine, the room was gorgeous (The Green Room) and Natalie's breakfasts are a delicious treat brought up to the room with her cheery smile each morning. A lovely base to explore Brighton/Hove.

Lansdowne House is one of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed! Perfect location, beautifully decorated, comfortable and luxurious. Bonuses: the delicious breakfast and the kind hostess. When I come back to Brighton I will 100% book here again.

We stayed in The Green Room, which admittedly was the largest room in the house. There was plenty of room and the bathroom (with shower and separate free standing bath) was massive as well. We were welcomed by Natalie and shown to our room. A glass of wine soon appeared which made things even better. The first morning we had breakfast in our room, the second day we chose to eat in the dining room. Breakfast was a full on affair - we chose the continental breakfast which was enough to keep us going for most of the day. Fresh fruit, sugar free muesli, fat free yoghurt, sourdough toast. I think you get the picture. The location of Lansdowne House is ideal being about half way between Brighton and Hove and not far off the main promenade. For us it was a walk into Brighton during the day to get the "kiss me quick" experience and then back past all the queues for the pubs and restaurants to have something to eat in peace in Hove. There are a great number of places to eat and drink within 10 minutes walk from Lansdowne House. So well within British Staggering distance :-). Whilst parking is difficult outside Lansdowne House, it was easy for us the drop our suitcases off and park elsewhere. Incidentally we found an excellent spot only about 10 minutes walk away using one of the well known parking apps. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Natalie.

We had a lovely short break at Lansdowne house, staying in the Grey room which was elegant and very comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent with a lot of variety, and we enjoyed sitting in the sunny courtyard garden after breakfast. Natalie was a great host, friendly and professional, and helpful with suggestions about things to do and places to eat. We really liked the location, quiet but with lots of great restaurants and bars just up the road, and very close to the seafront.
