We booked a weekend away at the Gables for a relaxing ,chilled and time together. And we got exactly that . Linda is so welcoming friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was spacious and wonderful views . We had the king Seaview . We did not want to leave . Most definitely visiting again . Highly recommend. Close to amenities felt like home away from home . I booked The Gables as part as a surprise for my husbands birthday weekend and found it very welcoming. Linda was on hand to greet us as showed us to a very comfy twin bedded room with en suite, TV and all the usual things which come with a room. the beds were super comfortable and as it was a splendid weekend for weather, the sun shone brilliantly into our room…. A small sea view through the window was visible beyond the sensory Boston Square. There was plenty of on street car parking. I knew breakfast wasn’t an option but we were offered a continental help-yourself style for taking at ANY time of the day which was a bonus. We didn’t partake of this as we had made other plans but it was a nice gesture. the guest house is literally 3 mins from the town centre which was ideal for what we needed, seeing a fantastic show at the Princess Theatre which was a stones thrown away so no car needed. The Guest house was beautifully quiet overnight and a good nights sleep was definitely had. Thoroughly recommend. Nothing was too much trouble

Lovely clean hotel. We spent 4 nights there and could not find any faults at all. Soon made friends with resident cat Olly . Definitely would stay there again. Close to shops and beach. Plenty of cafe's and places to eat. The owner of the Gables is a lovely caring person, who never fails to answer your questions.

We booked 3 nights in The Gables Guest House and did not know what to expect as this was our first time in a Guest House. Linda the owner was very quick to respond to an early arrival request this was not an issue. The Gables is located so close to the sea and 10 to the local amenities. The Gables is a wonderful town house, set on a very quiet street, the room was spacious, comfortable and very warm and welcoming – you cannot ask for any more. The facilities within the room are fantastic, Iron, hairdryer, fan, Kettle with plenty of tea, coffee, milk and sugar – far beyond anything I have seen in any hotel,, there was no fear of running out of anything. The bathroom had shower gels; shampoo and hand wash etc. and not cheap toiletries. Linda the owner is a lovely warm welcoming person who was there if you needed anything or as we wanted a recommendations where to eat an evening meal and Linda was spot on with her recommendation of Chives. All in all this was a very memorable visit to Hunstanton in a beautiful guest house with a warm and welcoming host – Linda, thank you for being you!

We had a beautiful room with a balcony and comfy bed. Tea and coffee in our room too. Self service continental breakfast suited us perfectly. We loved seeing Oliver in our room in the morning. Linda is lovely host and we would thoroughly recommend this guest house for location to everything in Hunstanton and surrounding area.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Gables, the room was spacious, comfortable and very clean and in a central location that was ideal for a stay in Hunstanton, I would definitely recommend and would stay there again

Just had a fabulous weekend at the Gables...Beautiful big room, very clean and bright. Linda is a great host, very welcoming, nothing too much trouble.... wonderful complimentary breakfast, help yourself... Thank you and we will be back....

The rooms are clean and tidy and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony was a lovely extra. The host was exceptional, friendly, helpful and made our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as could be. You could not ask for more here. Her partner, Oliver the cat, is gorgeous and sweet and well behaved. I would highly recommend this place.

I stayed here with my other half and outlaw for a weekend. Rooms are very clean and tidy, beds are extremely comfortable (though I'm sure I didn't get all of my half). Facilities in room are good and help yourself breakfast continental style more than adequate. Balcony at breakfast and in the evening off bedroom with wine and clear views of passing space station very enjoyable. The sea was also visible and good restaurants within walking distance as recommended by Linda our host. She works hard to make your stay pleasant, enjoyable and memorable without being imposing and her new partner Oliver sounds in my opinion like a huge upgrade on the previous Fawlty fella mentioned on earlier reviews. Visit and enjoy 😉
