Ever have a bad hotel stay? Sure you have. But, give it six months and maybe that unpleasant experience makes for a good story. This my friends is not my experience. Find another place to stay if you visiting L3H on business. I work for the AIr Force and had a government business trip (TDY) to L3H in November. I return home and find they charged me for 2 rooms. I call them in January, explain the error and they fix it. Except they don't... because in March they re-charge me for the second room. I call the general manager, again, and this time she insists I used both rooms. She won't budge. She wasn't very pleasant. I have to resolve it by calling IHC Customer Support. So here I am, six months later, completely regretting my stay. Next time my team will stay in Rockwall. It might add 30 minutes to the commute, but I'll never have to experience this hassle again. If you must stay there, I can give it props for being clean and quiet. The front desk staff is a tad under-trained (the staff member sat in the foyer, on her phone, when we checked in). The room was probably okay. Overall, I'd stay there again -- except for the abysmal customer service.
