The location is fantastic, right next to Palas. The staff in reception were very friendly and we were able to leave our luggage there for a few hours before our flight.
The room was great: very comfy BIG bed and great facilities (mini-fridge, TV, good room heating, lots of towels, slippers, bathrobes and toiletries). The only thing that could be improved would be the cleanliness in the shower cabin - the sealant in the shower cabin desperately needed replacing and the shower head and cable need to be cleaned properly (there were noticeable deposits). The water pressure was also pretty low but I think that was because of the cold weather so couldn't really be helped). Other areas of the bathroom and room were spotless.
The breakfast was delicious and there was an option to have breakfast in the room, which we took advantage on on our furst day. The restaurant staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating.
Overall, we had a GREAT stay during a stressful trip and we would definitely stay there again.

Nous avons été déplacés le matin suivant après avoir plaint au bureau de front, au sol 4. Cette chambre était mieux pour le bruit, mais le gardien de toilette a chuté du mur dès que nous l'avons utilisé. Le soir, nous avons vu les feuilles et les cas de couilles être rasés et fidélisés, trop tard pour faire quelque chose, mais nous avons montré des photos à la réception lors de la visite. L'hôtel est très confortable et vous pouvez vous rendre à l'hôtel à Hilton. Il y a beaucoup de meilleurs hôtels à Iasi, sur la base de mes visites récentes et antérieures, mieux à l'essai d'Unirea (la même norme) ou d'International (4 étoiles). Je ne pense pas que cet hôtel soit sous le nom de Hilton pendant longtemps, à moins qu'ils ne améliorent les normes.

There were not many hotel options in Iași at the time of booking, the only one I could find that was central and reasonably priced was Hotel Continental. It was a 15 minute walk from Gara Mare and I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was located a block away from Piața Unirii and a short walk from the Old Town. I had a nice welcome at check-in where it was explained that breakfast was included in my room rate before I was given my room key. The room was on 3rd floor and was quite spacious with a double and a single bed. It was old style decor and hadn't seen any refurbishment however there was a small balcony, aircon, TV and a full size fridge which made up for the dated furnishings. The bed was uncomfortable but with a few blankets over the mattress helped and I managed to sleep okay. The bathroom was fine with a powerful shower and there were toiletries provided. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of dishes, I chose the omelette which was delicious, it came with a croissant, bread rolls, coffee and fruit tea and was a very good start to the day. I liked the Hotel Continental because the hotel was so central and the staff were very courteous, the room was very dated but I still enjoyed my short stay there.

hôtel très confortable pour son centre (à quelques centaines de mètres du Palais de la Culture), juste devant le beau centre commercial de Iasi. Le standard est le classique Ramada, donc des chambres minimalistes, dotées de toutes les comodités, y compris le cuisson. Excellent douche et nettoyage. Le prix comprend également le petit déjeuner, mais je ne peux pas juger parce que j'ai un avion très prêt le matin, je n'ai pas fait.

The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. The price was amazing. There were great restaurants within walking distance. Hotel Unirea is in the city's commercial, cultural, religious, historical, political, geographic heart. Would definitely stay there again. The staff at the Hotel Unirea in downtown of Iași were fantastic. Great attitude. Helpful, and always available. The bed was super comfy. I will always stay at this location when traveling to or through Iași.

La vue fait tout l'argent! Si vous visitez la ville et souhaitez profiter de l'ensemble du centre-ville et être en mesure de la admiration du balcon, c'est là que vous devriez dormir. Le parking est très étroit, congestionné et vous devez vous battre un peu pour pouvoir s'adapter à cet espace étroit. Les chambres sont petites, odeur mauvaise, la salle de bains n'était pas assez propre - le tube de douche est clos. Le petit déjeuner était bon, mais le personnel n'est pas attentif à s'assurer qu'il y a assez pour tout le monde - j'ai dû arrêter quelqu'un chaque fois pour demander ce que j'avais besoin. La piscine de l'hôtel n'est pas dédiée aux clients de l'hôtel - c'est la même que celle utilisée par les clients de l'hôtel, il est crowdé et vous ne pouvez pas vous détendre. Le coût de la chambre est trop élevé - environ 300 Lei / nuit avec petit déjeuner inclus.
