We had a great and comfortable stay at ”The Leaf Resort” Munnar on last Tuesday(Sept 17 2024). So cozy & natural friendly rooms with homely feel and we feels so refreshing after staying there..So happy and thankful for the customer friendly staffs.. Especially heartfelt thanks to Mr.Sijo Varghese , executive chef of Leaf Resort, who helped us and being with us for each and every needs. So satisfied and happy with his lovely attitude. The delicious variety dishes served are greatly appreciable. Thanku you Leaf for an amazing stay and for lovely memories 💚

L'hôtel est magnifique et calme. Le gestionnaire et tout le personnel nous regardent avec cette attention, rien n'était trop de mal. Depuis le moment où nous sommes arrivés, nous avons senti que nous nous regardions. La nourriture était fabuleuse - pleine de goût. Le son des chansons d'oiseaux est beau, un endroit merveilleux pour se réveiller et un endroit spécial pour rester.

Once we reached the location, we found that we are very very far away from munnar but the location was in an thich forest area. We booked this only one main reason, which was for tree house experience, which was denied for us. The resort claimed, we didnt book a tree house one instead its a very very basic simple double room. There isnt an option for picking a tree house and nowhere it was mentioned its a simple double room. For the price i paid, its simply not worthy. The only good thing enjoyed was the food, and the team at the restaurant had the smile and provided best customer service. Thanks to them. Please be little cautious with this resort, as there are simple rooms and also tree houses. Please make sure to pick the tree house and not the deluxe room and its not worthy the price they ask, also its completely remote from munnar.

We had a pleasant stay in Pleasant Hill Resort 😉 the food was just amazing and always fresh prepared for us! The service was superior. We booked gorgeous trips nearby and a bit more far away from the hotel to view points for sunset, sunrise and many more. We want to highlight the amazing view from the balcony! The rooms and the pool were clean and get cleaned daily!

The property is impeccably maintained inside and outside the houses. The home is beautiful – the views are better than they appear in the photographs. Plenty of landscaped shrubbery, and it's a balm for city-sore eyes. The air is crisp, and quiet. Do request for a bonfire, and spend time walking outdoors to witness a star-filled night sky. A spot table tennis, pool, and chess were nice options (although the equipment need a touch-up). Right from Biju, the gatekeeper, each staff member is not only courteous but friendly, helpful, and skilled – most hospitable and nice to interact with. Susheel, the General Manager, was a delight to meet – he showed us around the plantations, introducing us to the fruits and vegetables they grow there, extended to us a lovely beetroot halwa on the house, and suggested a scenic route to drive back to Kochi. Shakti Raj, the day manager, was equally helpful in suggesting places to visit nearby, and serviced every request we had. The food is deliciously prepared, and the range is quite something in an otherwise sparse culinary stretch. While the tandoor was closed, their curries, desserts, and more make a fine spread. Their complimentary breakfast was very good indeed – the idiappam and egg roast as well as the puttu and peanut curry call for special mention. Plenty to do nearby: Kolukkumalai for sunrise (you get jeeps outside the property), Surianalle tea factory (you can pick up their teas and other spices from Siena), Tata Tea Museum, Top Station view point, and more. I'll be looking to visit again. They have another property at Thekkadi – Springdale, if of interest.
