Home2 Suites by Hilton Hammond

This is definitely one of the nicer extended stay hotels I've gotten to stay in. We stayed here while visiting my family, and I was very pleasantly surprised. One of my regular issues with Hilton properties is the Internet is usually terrible, but that wasn't the case here. My husband was able to work remotely with no issues, especially with the nice desk area in our room. Breakfast was tasty, and the room was nice and clean. The fitness center is really well done. It has everything you would expect from a hotel gym plus more. The staff were also super friendly and accommodating. We had to check out late at the last minute, and the staff were able to help us out without an issues. If I wanted to be incredibly nitpicky, my only complaint is the water pressure in the shower wasn't the best, but it was still serviceable.

The nice guy at the front desk, Jaylen was great. He helped us and was awesome to visit with. Definitely a good person to have on staff. Rooms were clean and lobby area was great for a visiting baseball team. Thanks for the hospitality. Need wine option snack bar.

Would have given four stars because the beds were very comfortable (but sheets a cheaply quality). The hotel is newer with very bright, cheery colors. Staff was varied, a few very friendly but the rest were cold to rude! Hallways newer clean looking carpet. Fresh odor! Our room was strange! Very large, comfortable couch and beds. Well stocked clean kitchen. Now the reasons for 3 stars! The bathroom was obviously supposed to be handicapped accessible but the shower was strange. There was a high sided tub, not a roll in shower with a seat propped up against the sink? If I am handicapped how do I lift seat into tub/shower and attach? But mostly NO SHOWER curtain so no matter how careful the floor gets wet! Lastly the breakfast was ok for a free offering but they had a variety of omelettes, egg sandwiches and egg sausage bowls in a case that was barely tepid. Room temp eggs are not appealing. No microwave. Ok for a quick overnight.
