The Flambeau Hideaway, located 20 minutes outside of Mercer, WI, is our 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin that sits on the shores of Lake Bastine, one of the original lake basins located on the west-central portion of Turtle Flambeau Flowage. The Flowage consists of over 14,000 acres & over 90% of the surrounding land is state owned & undeveloped; which gives off that true wilderness feel. So many outdoor activities! That’s the beauty of the Northwoods - snowmobiling, skiing, fishing, hiking LIST GOES ON!Species of fish on the Flowage include: walleye, musky, largemouth and smallmouth bass, perch, panfish, northern pike and sturgeon. The Northernwood is an ideal cabin for the adventurous couple or family. Three bedrooms (two bedrooms with queen size beds and one with two twin beds), two baths, great room, washer/dryer, fireplace and outdoor fire pit all add to the comfort/charm of your north woods experience (firewood is not guaranteed, you can pick some up in town).
