Initially I've booked for two nights, later extended one more night because of experiencing the high altitude sickness and help to contact another hotel for booking cancellation. He and his wife help us plan and advice the trip to Yading National Reserved, free laundry, contact the hotel in Chengdu for luggage storage before the trip to Jiuzhaiguo, booked tickets for mode of transportation that save money to the next town and drop us at bus station for free. Malheureusement, en raison d'un mal d'altitude sévère, je n'ai pas pu en profiter pleinement. En tant que fin gourmet, j'attribuerais un 90/100 à la soupe de poulet. Le poulet était de bonne qualité, même si la découpe pourrait être améliorée. Quant au Mapo Tofu, bien que le tofu utilisé ne soit pas celui de la cuisine traditionnelle du Sichuan, ce qui a légèrement altéré la texture, c'était tout à fait acceptable. Fortunately, the owner lady and friends are sittings at the roadside waiting for customers or passerby who looks for an accommodation. The owner lady is very generous and servicible. She helps me carrying my big luggage from street to the homestay. She also show me how to use facilities in the room. She speaks only chinese but I can not. So, she suggest me to contact her via Wechat which I can use translation feature. In the morning before I am going to visit Yading Scenic Spot, she offers me an treking pole too. Nevertheless, Due to the early departure time of bus to Xianggelila, I figure out whether I move to stay in town for another day after finishing 3-day booking here. She asks me if I have nothing to do in town and decide to continue staying. She can provide a free pick-up to the bus station by her family car at 5.30 a.m. That is great. The room is small and simple but tidy. Bed is firm and comfortable. It comes with electronic blanket which helps alot because it is freezing at night. Bathroom and toilet are clean. Hot water is provided all day in night. Shower pressure is strong and easy to adjust the temperature. However, bathroom and toilet are humid and difficult to dry because of the cold weather. Wifi is strong.
