Le lit était correct, les oreillers ne sont pas très confortables.
C'est assez propre, les deux seules choses que nous avons trouvées étaient un raisin derrière la porte de la salle de bain et le drain de la douche était bouché, donc l'eau débordait, nous l'avons nettoyé nous-mêmes. Dans l'ensemble, c'est propre et le personnel est très gentil et serviable.
De plus, la chambre avec la baignoire ronde n'a pas de porte de salle de bain, juste un rideau, mais celle sans baignoire a une porte, alors gardez cela à l'esprit lorsque vous choisissez votre chambre. »

This was one of my most memorable hotel stays, and I’ve stayed at many top-tier, five-star hotels around the world. While this may not be the most luxurious in terms of facilities, it more than makes up for it with its genuine charm and warmth. The owner was incredibly friendly, making us feel like we were staying at a friend’s home rather than a hotel. This welcoming vibe perfectly complements the enchanting atmosphere of this beautiful ancient city.
The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially from our top-floor room. The owner went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience, offering a spectacular panorama of the old town and surrounding mountains. The location is ideal—perched on a small hill, it provides an elevated vantage point for those stunning views, though the short uphill walk may be a slight effort due to the altitude. But trust me, it’s worth it.
If you’re visiting Lijiang to immerse yourself in its relaxed beauty and rich culture, there’s no better place to stay. I originally booked for three nights but quickly realized I’d need more time—next visit, I’m planning a full week to truly unwind and soak it all in. This isn’t a place to rush; it’s a place to slow down, savor the moment, and let the magic of Lijiang embrace you.

Il y a des chiens avec un bon service. Personnellement, j'ai peur des chiens, mais ce sont des chiens qui m'obligent à être surpris au lieu d'aboyer.
L'état de la chambre est également bon

Le propriétaire est adorable, et quel beau jeune homme ! Il nous a même prévenus que les VTC (comme Didi) ne pouvaient pas monter jusqu'à la Montagne du Lion, seuls les taxis y étant autorisés. Une fois arrivés en haut, il est venu nous aider avec nos bagages. Comme nous n'avions pas préparé d'itinéraire, le propriétaire nous a même fait des suggestions. En plus, ils nous ont aidés à acheter les billets pour les sites touristiques avec une belle réduction ! C'est décidé, mes collègues iront en septembre et séjourneront encore là-bas ! »

LLEEWe enjoyed our stay here, so when we returned from Shangri-la to Lijiang, we made a repeat booking at this place. The cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff were the main reasons for our return.
Location: This place is situated near the border of the Lijiang Ancient City. It is close to the main road (2 min walk) which makes it easy to meet your driver for airport transfer or any tour you join. It is also extremely convenient to get to the main attractions such as Mu Residence (5 min) and Zhongyi Night Market (6-8 min). You will be away from the hustle and bustle at night, and get some peace and quiet.
Room: We were lucky that we got a room on the ground floor, as we had very heavy luggage. It would be very difficult to pull them up the stairs if we were on the upper floor. Every room has a different name, and shows that the owners put some thought into giving each of their guests a unique experience. The room we got was of moderate size, with a small sofa area for you to enjoy tea and snacks. There was also a kettle and four cups, and a 5-litre water dispenser that dispensed hot and cold water - I appreciated this, which was more environmentally friendly and generous than other accommodation which gave us 2 bottles of water (500ml each) each every day. The room was also equipped with heating, for the room and the floor, and they were controlled by the front desk. There was also a humidifier. The room's interior decoration was warm and cozy.
Outdoor: We also enjoyed sitting outdoors, idling, gazing at the fish, watching the flowers bloom, while enjoying many cups of tea.
Toilet: It was of decent size, with a shower cubicle that dispensed hot water pretty quickly. They provided us with everything so there's nothing you need to bring: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, slippers for shower, towels for body and hair, one-time face towels, hair dryer, body lotion, soap, detergent.
Service: The staff was hospitable, friendly, and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed chatting with them over many cups of tea, and rose pastries. They even recommended travel routes and restaurants to us, which were very good, and we even got discounts or freebies by telling the restaurants where we were staying. It was easy to communicate with the staff on WeChat, they responded promptly, and arranged free airport transfer for us as we stayed more than three nights.
Food: Breakfast was served every morning, which included a bowl of Yunnan mixian (noodles), a steamed bun, a hard-boiled egg, corn, and some spicy preserved vegetables. Every booking came with one serving of afternoon tea, which included rose pastries and a variety of fruits. We arrived after midnight and the staff prepared some rose pastries and fruit for us, in case we would be hungry, which was very thoughtful of them!

MM537759****C'est vraiment un trésor caché ! Tout d'abord, leur emplacement est parfait, juste en face de l'entrée principale du Manoir Mu. L'auberge est incroyablement calme dès l'entrée. Le propriétaire et le personnel ont été incroyablement accueillants tout au long de notre séjour. Et vos soucis pour trouver l'auberge sont totalement inutiles. Le propriétaire vous contactera quelques jours avant votre séjour pour discuter de votre itinéraire et des indications pour vous rendre dans la cité antique. Il viendra ensuite vous chercher en camping-car, et vous n'aurez qu'à suivre les indications ! Vous n'avez même pas besoin de chercher des guides de voyage en ligne pour Lijiang ; il suffit de vous renseigner à l'auberge. C'est un guide complet, et je vous recommande vivement de les consulter.

From the moment we booked, the inn's owner reached out to us via WeChat. She responded promptly to all our queries, making us feel cared for and welcomed. Communication was smooth and friendly throughout our 3D2N stay. I really need to point out the EXCEPTIONAL service provided by the owner and staff. For those familiar with 丽江古城 (Old Town of Lijiang), you’d know how challenging it can be to navigate its cobblestone streets, especially with heavy luggage. The inn owner kindly helped us carry our bulky luggage from the Didi drop-off point to our rooms, which was a lifesaver. Moreover, she noticed that my grandparents had some difficulty walking and graciously upgraded us to a larger family room on the ground floor to spare them from climbing stairs. Every day, we were treated to dessert soup, fresh fruits, and a hearty breakfast. It felt like being pampered with home-cooked meals that left us feeling nourished and too full to enjoy the other street food sold in the 古城. Situated on 狮子山 (Lion Hill) within 丽江古城, Yinjian Inn boasts one of the best locations in the area. Perched at the highest point, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city, both from the rooms and the nearby Didi drop-off point, which is just a minute's walk away. While the walk down to the busier parts of the 古城 is easy and filled with charming shops and eateries, the climb back up can be a bit of a workout. However, the picturesque views and opportunities to rest and visit the stores along the way more than make up for it. Our room was clean and well-furnished, blending modern comfort with traditional Chinese aesthetics. The room included all the necessary amenities- also don't worry, there is a bidet with all sorts of cool functions. My family and I left with full hearts (and stomachs!) and immense gratitude for the care we received. So YES, please don't hesitate to choose this place :)

IInvitéI had an amazing experience at Lijiang Joyful Boutique Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful — they made me feel right at home. The hotel is beautifully designed with charming Naxi-style architecture and tasteful modern touches, creating a peaceful and authentic atmosphere.
My room was spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful amenities and a lovely view of the courtyard. I especially appreciated the quiet location — just a short walk to Lijiang Old Town but tucked away enough to enjoy restful nights.
The daily breakfast was delicious. The staff also helped arrange transportation and gave great recommendations for places to explore around Lijiang.
Overall, staying at Joyful Boutique Hotel truly enhanced my time in Lijiang. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, friendly, and authentic place to stay!

Llittle-cloudWe stayed at Stone Hotel 石头厝 for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it! I am so glad we discovered it after searching on Trip.com for quite a while. We were looking for a hotel in Lijiang that is quiet and peaceful, with views of Yulong Snow Mountain, and has the modern comforts of a luxurious boutique hotel.
The hotel is located outside of Lijiang town, approximately 30-40min drive, and right next to Yuhu Village. If we needed to go anywhere, the hotel provides a car drop-off service in a luxurious MPV. It’s also easy to call a car on DiDi.
The room is beautifully designed with elements of copper and wood, blending modern and traditional. The bed and pillows are among the most comfortable I’ve slept in during my travels. Being a city girl, I’m delighted with the Dyson hairdryer, Marshall speaker, and Aesop hand soap! The free mini fridge is stocked with beer, Perrier sparkling water, soft drinks, and if not enough, just pop over to the restaurant where the fridge and fruit bar is open and free all day! The amazing variety of fruits are the sweetest I’ve tasted, all grown locally. Even the nuts are sweet, I think they roast them in some sweet milk. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes but we had hotpot every dinner just because the soup is so delicious and the meats so tender. At dinner, the Naxi brothers will drink a toast and sing for every guest as their way of welcoming the guests and treating them as friends. If you dare to, try their local herbal/fruit alcohol (very strong!) We also love that for breakfast, they serve a selection of local side dishes which we enjoyed trying.
Their concierge/front desk team welcomed us warmly even before arriving (via WeChat), and supported us very well throughout our stay. The whole experience of coordinating airport pickup and booking their various activities and amenities (afternoon tea, evening drink, dinner, car) was seamless and fast. Before going out, the front desk staff always makes sure that we are well equipped for the day with water, umbrella, oxygen, chocolates. All the staff are always happy and friendly, making us feel like we are friends because the service is so personalized. We chatted with many of them and had the chance to learn a little about each of them, their lives and their culture. They know that we love playing with their dogs and the little lamb DuoDuo, and gave us many chances to play with them and even feed little DuoDuo. One can feel that they love their work there.
After leaving, we are still missing little DuoDuo, the amazing staff and warm hospitality, and the comfortable room. I’ve traveled to many places, and this is one of the rare times where I miss the place and the people so much. We highly recommend Stone Hotel 石头厝 to anyone visiting Lijiang! And I hope we have to chance to come back and stay with them again.

Si vous rencontrez des problèmes, contactez simplement la femme de ménage et c'est fait. Un ami qui voyageait avec moi avait de la fièvre à cause du mal des montagnes. La femme de ménage a fourni un thermomètre et la clinique la plus proche à proximité. Le B&B est dans la vieille ville mais il est très calme et propice au repos. La chambre n'est pas différente de la photo, et elle est même plus grande que la photo. Il y fait super chaud avec chauffage au sol et climatisation. Les autres employés du B&B sont également très enthousiastes et vous inviteront à boire du thé, à discuter et à jouer au billard. Il y a aussi deux Alaskiens, qui sont très mignons.
