Wolf Ridge Lodge is located in Mena, AR and just 1.7 miles from the Wolf Pen Gap’s East Trailhead entrance. This beautiful, authentic log cabin sits on 10 very private acres. The cabin has just undergone a $125k update to please the discriminating traveler seeking a “cabin in the woods” vacation. This is a great place for couples seeking a romantic getaway. We just added a large hot tub for those cool nights!Upon entering, you will notice the cozy living area with fireplace to help relax and warm up those cool nights. The kitchen features all new appliances (stove, refrigerator and microwave), dishes, pots and pans, glassware, baking dishes and accessories needed to cook a full meal. There is also a full-stocked coffee bar with both Keurig and regular options to help start your day. You will also notice the newly installed hand-chiseled granite countertops.The master bedroom features hand-made pine furniture, plush pillow-top mattress and luxury cabin-style bedding and linens. There is also a 43” smart with tv and a DVD player.The recently remodeled bathroom is just outside of the main bedroom on the first floor and features a walk in shower. Luxury linens, soaps and hairdryer are provided. There are also laundry facilities with a full-size washer and dryer if needed.Just off of the living room area, you will find stairs leading you to a loft featuring a queen bed with pillow top mattress. You will also find a large living area with 58” smart tv, dvd player and over 200 movies for those quiet evenings. We have also stocked several popular games for additional fun!The sofa in the loft area turns into a queen bed to accommodate extra guests. There is also a desk area in case you are inspired to write or need to get some work done while you are away. Please note: Cellular service is very limited here so we have included satellite internet with Wi-Fi to help keep you connected. Outside, there is a large front porch with rocking chairs to help you relax and enjoy your morning coffee. You will also find a large deck with patio furniture, large hot tub and TV to enjoy nature. There is also a large fire pit area to help warm up those cool nights and enjoy the fresh mountain air. If you are a stargazer, you will love the views here on clear evenings. There is also a weber charcoal grill. Charcoal is supplied.Parking: There is also ample room for parking ATVs and multiple vehicles.Terrain: Due to the remote location and gravel/rocky roads, we suggest an SUV or Truck to reach this cabin. We would also suggest that you plan on arriving during daylight hours to help make the cabin easier to locate. It's a perfect base camp for your adventure with close proximity to Fourche trails, Little Missouri Falls, the town of Mena, and other outdoor attractions.Our modern rustic cabin will welcome you with the creature comforts of home in an idyllic outdoor setting. Vaulted ceilings and custom log accents make the open floorplan kitchen & living area the perfect gathering place for your group. The home is appointed throughout with real log furniture and rustic design elements. Guests can spread out across three bedrooms and a large sleeping loft complete with bunk beds. Additionally, two log couches in the living area lay flat to round out sleeping arrangements. Two full bathrooms downstairs and one up provide convenient access for all. Guests have the whole cabin to themselves, including the four acres of forest which surround it.In an effort to maintain a secure premises, the cabin is equipped with a single exterior camera. The camera is ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras inside.Bear Mountain is located SE of the town of Mena, with part of the trip on gravel roads. A truck/SUV, or at minimum a vehicle with a bit of ground clearance is recommended to reach the cabin (for reference, our QX60 and our cleaner's Buick Enclave make it fine). Parking is plentiful, with a circular driveway to help get ATV/UTV trailers in and out.Also, due to the remoteness of the cabin, the only available Internet is via satellite.
