A cozy and quiet 3 bedroom cabin, sitting down the hill in the woods with the sounds of a waterfall running off the back porch with your morning coffee and amazing sunsets off the front porch relaxing after dinner and exploring. Far enough away from the tourism to gain a pure appreciation for the Amish way of life, yet close enough to all the tourist attractions of Sugar Creek and Walnut Creek to spend your day exploring the local shops, eateries and Amish bakeries. Local wineries are within 15-30 minutes away if you enjoy vineyard tours and wine tasting. Baltic Mill winery is only a 10 minute ride and across the street from East Main Kitchen. Put your name on the waiting list at the restaurant and head across the street to do a little wine tasting while you wait for your table. If you enjoy off the beaten path exploring there are miles of Amish country roads to turn down and get lost in exploring an amazingly different way of life. Stop in at the different Amish shops you run into along the way, then stop back by Bags Sports Pub for a great burger before heading back to the cabin to wind down for the evening. Relax watching TV in the den or retire to the bedrooms to watch TV while you fall asleep. It is truly a magical place to visit with enough to keep you as busy as you want to be or as laid back as you wish your normal days could be.Pearl Falls is a 2 story cabin with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, downstairs living area and stocked kitchen. While there is one main bedroom and bathroom on the main floor there is a steep sidewalk to enter the house and the other 2 bedrooms and other bathroom require you to climb stairs to access as they are on the 2nd floor. Road access and part of the drive way are rock/gravel with some hills, but the parking area and house access are concrete (see pictures). Bedrooms and bathrooms do have blinds for privacy, but we love the openness and tranquility of not having them in other rooms of the house. The space is secluded enough that there is still plenty of privacy without them, we just love the unabstructed views of the landscape. Back Porch- Covered Area has a bar height table and chairs for 4 and 4 rocking chairs, while the sun deck has a charcoal grill. The covered deck and sun deck are all one space (see pictures). Living area Has a double reclining couch, double reclining love seat and a stand alone recliner. Blankets to wrap up in while you let the electric fireplace relax you from the day. Smart TV with full streaming Channels (please use your own log in for online streaming). Many board games; Monopoly, Life, Chess, Checkers, Battleship, Connect Four, Uno, Playing cards and more).Kitchen/Dining- Dining Table sits 6 and fully stocked Kitchen. Coffee pot and coffee bar stay stocked for your stay. Dishes, glasses, silverware and cookware are all available in the kitchen space. There is an oven and stove if you prefer to do your own cooking along with a microwave. There is a full size refrigerator with an ice maker in the bottom freezer drawer. Recently renovated throughout, the cottage now includes a cozy breakfast nook and a dedicated work space with a desk and high speed internet, but no TV. Take a stroll through the orchard and small grove of trees and enjoy the uniqueness of a rural type setting located in a small village.Currently, the cottage, the patio, the backyard, the orchard, and the small grove of trees are available for our guests enjoyment, however all of the outbuildings are to be considered off-limits.A fully-operational kitchen is stocked with utensils, cookware, and basic spices to aid our guests as you prepare your own meals.A full-size washer and dryer, plus laundry detergent and fabric softener are available for all your laundry needs during your stay.Two of the bedrooms and one common sleeping area are located up a flight of stairs. The common sleeping area contains two single beds. This sleeping area is not privately walled off.The bathroom on the upstairs level is a small, private bath off of the one bedroom. The common-use bathroom is on the main floor.The bedroom on the main floor has a bunk bed that is full on the bottom and single on the top. And the sitting room contains a sofa that is quite comfortable to sleep on if necessary.This home is located on a small property (just under 2 acres) and has a semi-secluded back yard with numerous trees and a small orchard which helps give it a country atmosphere and is a haven for a variety of song birds (seasonal).A patio with a gas grill is available for cookouts (weather permitting).The entrance driveway is shared with the neighbor and must be kept open at all times.There is ample free parking at the cottage for two vehicles. Large trailers, and more than 4 vehicles (vehicles and trailers combined) are not permitted.The cottage is located in a small village which contains: a grocery store, a bank, a harness/shoe shop, a hardware store, a chain saw/small engine shop, two feed stores, and several "Amish" variety stores. Most of these stores are within walking distance or if someone wishes to take a vehicle there is parking space in front of each location.
