Walls are decorated with local artwork as well as art collected in the South Pacific in the 1960s and more recently the Cook Islands. There is a desk and office chair in the nook off the living room. Coolers are available at the front door and in the downstairs laundry area to keep your food purchases fresh - including fish from the Sunday farmers market. The yard is a forest of palms and fruit trees - including papaya, grapefruit, soursop, tangerine, lime, lemon, orange, star fruit, banana and mango. Feel free to help yourselves to the bounty. There is also a fruit and banana bread stand down the street. Most rentals down at the bay have an additional rental unit and ours is no exception however the second unit has a permanent tenant. Karen has lived on the property for over 20 years in a small Ohana below the house. She has proven to be a wonderful local resource to our guests and is available for issues that may arise.
