They lived in this house year-round. The Loft was the former master bedroom, and the house was heated with the same Franklin Stove that is still in the dining room. The deck and current Master bedroom were added on much later.As Hidden Valley began to grow, George was the major real estate agent, selling his land to early homeowners. The Parkes sold 114 Imperial and built a home at the top of what is now Imperial ski slope.
