About this spaceOver the river and through the woods you will find our house/cabin on a wooded 1 acre lot located in a quiet Lakehead neighborhood. This is a large 2 bedroom 2 bathroom (1400 sq ft) home with boat parking. This is the perfect space for a family or couples looking for a getaway. Our cabin is located just 3 minutes to the shores of Lake Shasta, California (depending on lake levels) and located 1.5 to 3 miles from boat launches (depending on lake levels).Shasta County Permit # STR 22-0048The spaceWe are one of a few locally owned and operated Airbnb’s in the area. We personally do all of our own maintenance and cleaning to ensure your stay is up to our high standards. Our cabin is fully furnished and we offer all the amenities to keep you comfortable during your stay. The cabin has recently been painted, new carpet, new lighting, and 85% of the furniture is new.Living room: Open floor plan with sectional sofa, wood burning stove, 60 inch Smart TV, and bunk beds(upper twin/lower full size).Dining room: Dining room pub style table with seating for 4 (additional barstools at kitchen breakfast bar).Kitchen: Our kitchen is fully equipped to meet your needs. There is a selection of K-cup coffee pods, tea bags, hot chocolate, olive oil, salt, pepper, and spices.Master bedroom: California King size sleigh bed, 55 inch Smart TV, full size closet with hangers and luggage rack. Linens provided for the length of your stay.Master bathroom: Oversized bathtub and separate shower stall. You can enjoy your favorite water sports, fishing, or a walk on the lakeshore. Take a day trip to Mount Shasta where you can explore the mountain, play a round of golf, or enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants. Stop in at the Dunsmuir Botanical Gardens or visit the unforgettable Castle Craigs. You can also take a tour of the nearby historic Shasta Caverns. There are numerous waterfalls (30-90 miles away) and hiking trails to explore during your stay. Shasta adventures abound near this inviting 4 bedroom, 2 ½ bath, Tudor style home in Lakehead CA. Enjoy the convenient location on a quiet cul-de-sac. Within walking distance of both grocery stores and restaurants make this an ideal home to spend quality time with family and friends. Walk out the back gate and down the path to the waters edge. Home is located on the Dooney creek cove behind the 5mph buoy. Anchor or beach your boat for the duration of your stay at your own risk. Water levels vary greatly year to year and throughout the summer as they draw the reservoir down. Driveway will accommodate approximately 6 full size vehicles or 4 vehicles and 2 trailers. Additional parking is available in the cul-de-sac on a first come first serve basis. An RV also fits in the side driveway. Water and power can be provided to the RV at an additional charge, but no sewer hook ups are available on-site. The garage is also available for coolers, water toys, and has an additional refrigerator for your use. The well equipped kitchen should provide all the necessary items to get your large group fed. In addition, a gas BBQ and pellet smoker are onsite for the outdoor chef in the group. Most of the days are spent on the water or enjoying the large outdoor deck. But should you need to get out of the heat and into the comforts of the air conditioned house. You will find two separate spacious living areas where groups can relax and beat the heat. At the end of the day choose from one of the four bedrooms. The master bedroom is upstairs and has a king size bed, fireplace, bathroom with shower, toilet, and dual sinks. Bedroom two is located downstairs with a king size bed and easy access to the ½ bathroom. Bedroom three also upstairs offers a queen-bed. The last bedroom upstairs is great for housing the kids with one bunk bed (twin & Full), and a trundle bed (2 twins). These two bedrooms share the remaining full bath. Antlers Marina and Sugarloaf Marina are both located within 1 mile of the home and have public boat launches as well as boat slips for rent, gas docks, and convenience stores on the water. This gorgeous home is located in a private cove of Lake Shasta. This home has it all. The privacy of the cove allows you to moor your boat at the house safely. It is also great for fishing, swimming or just relaxing on the water. The backyard has three levels which tier down to the water. This gem is so beautiful and peaceful that it is a great place to hold family reunions and retreats.Walk outside your balcony and enjoy breathtaking views every day. At night relax around the large fire pit under the stars. After a long day of fun soak into the jacuzzi hot tub for total relaxation. BBQ on your own private deck or relax in your own recreation room, complete with fooseball table,pool table,T.V. and games for the kids. Our gourmet kitchen and grand dining room table allows seating for up to 14-16. Its a great place to gather for family meals or meetings. Lake water behind the home drops depending on the season and when it does it allows for great hiking. Pool is not heated.The property is located walking distance to restaurants and market. This home is located in a private cove of Lake Shasta. Water fluctuates on Lake Shasta. We cannot determine the water level at any given time. This Lake Front Vacation Rental on Lake Shasta was acquired in 2008. We recently renovated our home again in 2023 complete with new flooring in the master bath, fresh paint, and new decor. This is an exquisite retreat!The property is a very roomy 2,300 s.f. family vacation rental on a third of an acre lot, with a game room in the garage with a pool table and on-site parking. This resort house is located in the quaint community of Lakehead and backs to Shasta Trinity National Forest Land with a private gate to the Forest Service trail directly to the Lake. There is nothing between you and the Lake except your desire to get there! The lake is full this year and the water is right behind the house! Currently, you can not get a boat under the bridge in Doney Cove. The closest marina to moor your boat is Antlers. The house sleeps 9 adults in very comfy beds with plenty of room for additional children. There is plenty of room in this house to accommodate large groups. You will be more than pleased with our well-stocked home. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and serve gourmet or quick easy meals. There is a second full-sized refrigerator in the garage. A large shaded private deck looks directly into the forest and the lake cove behind the property.
