Avis : French Hotel

Cet hôtel est très proche de certains restaurants célèbres, il y a de nombreux endroits pour changer de l'argent à proximité et il y a une laverie en face. Ce qui précède devrait être le plus gros avantage de cet hôtel. À mon arrivée, le personnel de la réception a essayé de me demander de payer la taxe, je lui ai dit que j'avais payé en ligne. Elle m'a également demandé d'envoyer par courrier électronique la facture du compte de taxes et de prendre une photo. L'agencement et les installations des chambres d'hôtel sont très simples, mais vous devez quand même payer une caution. Aucun autre hôtel dans lequel j'ai séjourné en Malaisie avant et depuis ne m'avait jamais demandé de caution. J'espère que vous pourrez faire confiance au caractère de l'invité et éviter des ennuis inutiles.

It was good, rooms was quite clean, location is very strategic to our destination, service is nice, free parking but need to park outdoor (1-2min walking distance). The room is not very bright, it is better if can change to brighter bulb.

The hotel is located in the downtown. Is convenient to call for the grab car services. The customer service is friendly and helpful. The room is clean and tidy.

I liked this hotel. There is daily cleaning ( which is unusual for budget friendly hotels in Malaysia), water, tea and coffee were refilled every day ( but upon check in I found only sugar and coffee creamer without tea or coffee). There is a kettle and a mini fridge. An iron and ironing board were provided on request. I like that the shower is separated by a glass partition, so the floor doesn't get wet, a hair dryer and toiletries are provided. There is a safe. My room was big but standard rooms are not big, Soundproofing can be improved, I could hear every sound from the corridor. There was a bit of chemical smell in the corridor. There is a 7/11 next door, KFC and Pizza Hut on the opposite side of the road, the central market is nearby. The main landmarks are about 10-15 minutes walk.

Me and my cousin had a pleasant stay here. The receptionist is very friendly and kind, she recommended us the famous local food (hainan chicken rice) and addressed any of our questions. Though the hotel and room interior is a bit old, but it’s clean & the bathroom is spacious, i think they just renovated it. The hotel is strategic and walking distance to Gerbang Malam.

The room was clean and well maintained. There is a Sunday morning flea market located in the alley next to the hotel, which was a nice bonus. The location is convenient, with a wide variety of restaurants to choose from nearby. The staff were friendly, always smiling, and willing to help and provide excellent service. Overall, it was good value for money and well worth the price paid.

Convenient area as this is located in centre of Ipoh,..no worries to go anywhere. They have a security to guard the entrance too, so is a safe stay. If you are looking for a short and budget stay, this is a good choice. Their Aircond is centralized and cold too.

Happy that the hotel staff allowed me to check in much earlier as I reached before 7 am. The room was big and the amenities were good. During my stay, Amelia was very helpful in offering suggestions about transport to the attractions that I wanted to go to. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and will definitely choose French Hotel the next time I go to Ipoh.

Good budget stay located next to the weekend flea market. The room was simple and reasonably clean, suitable for a short trip. Overall, you get what you pay for, so it’s a decent option if you’re looking for an affordable stay without expecting too much from an older budget hotel.

Overall it was a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and everything was well maintained. What I liked the most was the shower — the water pressure was really strong and satisfying, which made it very relaxing after a long day. I would happily stay here again.

old hotel. good enough for a one night’s stay. walking distance to food places

Hotel is located at the heart of Ipoh , car park is beside the hotel ( out door ) raining experience flooding near the car park . Tv channel can be improve . Staff are friendly . Convenience store just beside .

It’s clean, decent, and has a good location. Amenities were not too complete, but still sufficient for a 2 star hotel. The only problem was a bidet faucet which was a bit leaked (thankfully you can turn off the valve to stop the leak). The service from the reception desk was exceptional. Recommended!!!
