Bedroom and bathroom immaculate. Most comfortable bed and pillows I've ever had. Hotel was clean. Nice and quiet. A few minutes stroll to lovely harbour waterfront . Nice relaxed atmosphere. All staff, from housekeeping to management, were friendly and extremely helpful - especially Chris, because he somehow found time to take a genuine and helpful interest in my personal woes!

Well here we are again. I think we must be part of the furniture by now very much a regular at this travel lodge. Location is good very clean place to stay. Breakfast is good and a good selection of meals. Sara and Chris really carnt do enough for you they are very helpfull staff. Only another 4 weeks and we are back again.

I had a great time visiting the Ipswich hotel, the view of the waterfront was great as well as being a short distance from shops and the town centre. What took it above and beyond for me, were the incredibly friendly staff. Mainly the manager Jess who helped me check in, directed me around the hotel and told me all about what was in the local area, also Vince an incredibly hard worker who came in on his day off to help support his bar/cafè team, very clued up gentleman deserving of his position.

The room was clean and beds comfortable. The girl on the desk, Jess, was friendly and welcoming, greeted us with a smile, and got us checked in quickly. The barman/chef, Chris, was friendly too, and happy to talk us through the menu and suggested the burger and chips for my super-fussy kids - they ate every bite. The staff, Jess and Chris, helped me relax after a stressful journey. Will definitely be staying here again. :)

The bed was comfy and the room was clean, however when we asked for clean towels and the tea and coffee to be restocked they weren’t. Room wasn’t cleaned. Spoke with staff but the issue was not resolved.

Stayed here solo, after a relationship breakdown, and was feeling pretty low and unimportant. The barman/chef, Chris, took the time to make sure I was okay, and eating properly - the food was delicious! Chris made sure to ask about food allergies, and was very knowledgeable about possible allergens on the menu.

Chris is awesome ! Helpful, friendly and professional. On his own behind the bar and in the kitchen keeping things running smoothly whilst taking the time to keep conversation and make us feel happy and with the local knowledge he provided helped us own our trip more effectively. Thanks Chris

I’m happy with the costumer service, Naomie was very helpful, sociable and approachable, and the hotel room is clean, makes me feel at home, I would definetily recommend the hotel to anyone needing place to stay, and I would gladly stay here next time myself.
