Nice old school hotel.
Good place for a one night stay over.
Only problem was that people on floor above us came in after midnight and made a racket stomping around and playing music till 2 the morning.
That's the drawback of wooden floors in old buildings.
Breakfast was decent.

Came here on a whim for some breakfast and had a great time with excellent service by Ashley who’s a top guy. If your ever passing by come in for some good food

Paid for two nights bed and breakfast . Left after the first night . The staff are nice and the room was nice . The breakfast however was the worst I’ve ever been served at a hotel . The egg was like rubber and whole breakfast tasted like rancid oil so I pushed all the food to one side and thought I’d just have toast and jam . Wrong again as the jam was covered in green mould . When I told the manager later in the day ( as they are not there full time )there was no offer to compensate for breakfast for the following morning even though she knew we were leaving and I showed her photos of my breakfast . The hotel itself it’s in a good location although has no parking or a lift which could be difficult for some people as there are a lot of stairs even to reach the reception. View from room was lovely .

Third stay at Victoria in Blairgowrie. I cannot sing its praises too much. Although a period hotel of great age it has stood the test of time and provides comfort, great position, lovely proprietors and in a stunnig area. Although no lift all rooms are on first floor. Breakfast is a great start to your day here so you will noit be disappointed. There are so many delightful places to visit, walks, golf courses, Blairgowrie is very well situated for transport and public transport. One can not ever regret their choice and will leave in peace and return to hectic lives.

Great location. Older hotel but very clean. Mattress great and bedding clean. Central heat not great but they give you an electric space heater, so you are cozy. Friendly accommodating staff. Wonderful breakfast that you order the day before. I recommend staying here.

A huge thank you to the manager and staff of the Victoria Hotel, Rothesay who kept me working remotely from Bute in the aftermath of Storm Éowyn this week when I had no power early in the week and no internet access all week. I am very, very grateful to you all. Thank you for all your warm-hearted kindness; letting me use your warm and comfortable lounge, the super breakfasts and the very many cups of coffee. I will highly recommend the Victoria Hotel to anyone who asks me where is a good place to stay on Bute!

We went to the restaurant at the Victoria Hotel for our Christmas Day Lunch, booked in advance. From first enquiry to service on the day the staff were so helpful, pleasant, welcoming and efficient. The food was all very well cooked and presented, lovely and hot main course and good portions. We enjoyed it and thought it was excellent value for money.

This hotel is located right in the main area of the island. It is everything you would want whilst stopping in for one night however after being there for a week the place takes its toll. The room is very basic and outdated with not very many facilities within. The tv is tiny and has no apps on it and also the hdmi ports do not work. The place is clean but need renovations as it is very behind the times. The dinner from the hotel is just a short walk around the corner to the esplanade hotel and the food is unbelievable, great choice on the menu and the portions are huge.
