Art Nouveau Galata

Art Nouveau Galata is a gem of a hotel in a great neighborhood. The Galata neighborhood is fun and vibrant, with lots of cute cafés, dessert spots, restaurants and hip music and gift shops clustered around the historic Galata Tower. The hotel is right in the heart of the action—our room literally overlooked the Galata Tower!—but our space was quiet and peaceful despite the nonstop fun outside. Our room had a little balcony which would've been a wonderful spot to sip coffee and people watch (if we'd allowed ourselves some downtime from sightseeing!). Our room was modestly sized but had everything we needed and more—roomy storage for clothes, a TV, desk, and spacious modern bathroom. The room even had a small kitchenette which was an unexpected plus! We loved going to the brasserie across the square to eat breakfast (included) every morning. The T1 tram stop and Tünel were both nearby which was extremely convenient for getting around. But the best part of our stay was undoubtedly the kind and attentive service. Yalçin and his gracious colleagues went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it possibly could be. When we visit Istanbul next, we know where we'll be staying!

This was my first trip to Istanbul and my fiancé had a great time, the Art Nouveau Galata Hotel was the perfect spot to stay. The rooms were nice and comfortable, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The location was great, right around the corner from the Galata Tower. We walked all over the city, and it was always reassuring to be able to see the tower no matter where we were and know how to get back to our hotel. The breakfast provided by the hotel was a daily highlight for us as well. A real Turkish breakfast is hard to beat. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Small hotel very well located, 1 minute walking form Galata tower, staff is really nice, Murat is very helpful with all that you can need. Rooms are very simple but ac works great, beds are comfy and bathroom works great. I will stay here again.

We have been staying in Istanbul many time in different hotels. But only here in this hotel we feel ourselves like at home. Comfortable beds, everything is clean and tidy, air conditioning and hearted were keeping nice warmth in the room, small shampoos and soaps are provided. The guys Murat and Ahmet are so friendly, helpful, attentive and careful. They are so sincere, and they really can solve any problem, help in anything you need. They are real professionals and at the same so kind-hearted people. The location is perfect- right next to the Galata tower, lots of restaurants, authentic cafes and shops. It’s excellent! Highly recommend.

I stayed here in February during the coldest months. The staff was so supportive in my travel. They arranged for a COVID test to be taken in my hotel room. That was so convenient. The hotel was clean and the staff always offered great food recommendations nearby. i would recommend this place if your staying in Istanbul for a few days.

Hotel molto carino e pulito, personale gentilissimo e super disponibile, terrazza al settimo piano con vista sul mare e la città bellissima, posizione molto comoda per visitare il centro storico di Istambul, colazione molto buona e abbondante

Останавливались в отеле большой семьей на 4 ночи. Отдельно хочу выделить внимание и заботу Мурата: всегда был на связи при бронировании, решал все вопросы из-за сложностей с оплатой🫶 Прекрасное расположение, ежедневная уборка, в номере есть все необходимое. Историческое здание. Рядом продуктовый магазин Шок, многочисленные лавочки. Завтрак в соседнем кафе по меню, одно блюдо на выбор на человека. Кофе по-турецки самый вкусный в кафешке под деревом рядом с отелем.

Отличный отель - просторные номера с мини-кухней с необходимой утварью, удобная кровать, с балкона вид на зелень и Галатскую башню. Сотрудники отеля приветливые, всегда готовы помочь, дать дельный совет. Хорошее расположение - магазины, рестораны, банки рядом. В отеле нет лифта, только лестница, сотрудники с багажом помогают. В номере есть бутилированная вода. Отличный wi-fi. Обязательно ещё приеду 😊
