WelcomHeritage Kalyan Bhawan Hotel

Stayed 2 nights in this heritage building converted to a simple hotel. Rooms are in 3 floors. No elevator. Bags are delivered to your room. It’s very basic. No restaurant either. In rooms no tea/coffee, no fridge. Rooms are airconditioned but noisy and malfunctioning. Low water pressure. So shower is not working. Because of a water defect in our room we were moved to a bigger room. It was bit more spacious but still basic. No water in the shower because of low pressure. There is one guy staying in the lobby who helps the guests. Location is busy area next to the old city and market. There are many cows in the doorstep. Mandir Palace is 5 minutes walking distance and it’s a partner hotel with the same owner. We could use the swimming pool and the restaurant there. Food in that restaurant was excellent. Our rooms were booked by our tour agency. So we don’t know how much the room costs. If you can get a room for 10 to 15 euros, then it’s value for money.

Nice stay with cooperative staff,centrally located , nearby bus stand and railway station, peaceful encampment and very cooperative , Rooms are spacious and neat . Recommend to have stay whenever someone visit Jaisalmer, Nice hotel overall value
