I had a great stay at Abu Safari Jaisalmer. The hostel is in a beautifu old building and it is very clean and right across the street from.Jaisalmer Fort

Good place to go, recommend people to come . The food at the rooftop especially good and there is a very nice view to eat.

Worst hotel ever no hoy water and no TV working

Great experience. As I said earlier if you want a shelter at low cost, it's perfect for you

Alors que nous ne pensions pas trouver de safari pendant la mousson, nous sommes tombés sur la perle du désert ! Abu et ???? qui gèrent l'hôtel sont débordants d'énergie, de générosité et de bonne humeur. A peine arrivés, nous avons pu partir en non-touristic Safari avec Bada, très accueillant lui aussi, tout comme ses chameliers. Jeep climatisée puis chameaux, repas préparé par les chameliers au feu de bois comme les nomades (curry, dal, riz, chapati, roti, eau a volonté, excellent desert chai, et il serait possible de demander de la viande aussi mais ils abattent l'animal sur place apparemment), nuit à la belle étoile dans les dunes (attention, vent et humidité pendant la nuit), puis retour en passant par des villages très typiques (nous avons rencontré des enfants charmants mais qui n'arrêtaient pas de quémander comme souvent en Inde), nous avons même fait une partie de cartes avec 2 vieillards qui passaient par là au moment du déjeuner. Nous n'avons pas croisé d'autres touristes, mais des éoliennes qui dénaturent une partie du paysage. Au retour à l'hôtel, alors que nous ne voulions pas prendre de chambre car nous devions repartir dans la foulée, nous avons pu prendre une douche et nous reposer quelques heures sans extra. Chambre propre, salle de bain spacieuse et propre, AC. Très bonne vue depuis le roof top restaurant, avec un menu très complet et des prix corrects, on peut même apprendre des recettes en cuisine ! Pick and drop depuis les gares routières/ferroviaire, véhicule climatisé.

Owner and staff are friendly. I love this hotel. I want return this hotel in June. This hotel is also less than 10 stars. All staff very good person. He care guest. If you go to Jaisalmer then stop it now at the Safari Hotel.

My experience was worst with abu safari, both the guesthouse as well as the safari camp tent where we stayed paying thousand of bucks for luxury service were terrible.Don't ever book your safari with Abu.Its only good for foreigners.They charge high money in advance and then leave you ,no one is there to listen about your needs or problem.The owner is a big cheat he chased on bike while we were entering jaisalmer city and as we were also in hurry so we booked the safari with him.Don't ever book through abu safari.Pathetic food and worst entertainment performances in his resort.

I was there for two night with my family and then went to the camel safari also stay in abu desart camp ! Camel safari & desart camp of ABU was absolutely spectacular. Bada bhai,abu bhai & all the team members of abu are very supportive & the behaviour of team abu is awesome. So if you want to have the best experience in Jaisalmer go to only "hotel Abu Safari " ......

I can really recommend Abu Safari to everyone. The hostel is nice, clean and cool. The view from the rooftop is very nice. The location is great. But best of all, the people do everything to make you feel at home! Although we did not ask it, someone was waiting at the train station to pick us up, and when we got to the place, we first had tea at the rooftop before we checked in. During our stay, we mainly ate at the hostel because the food is great, prices reasonable and the waiter extremely polite and caring. He even offered to go with us into the city if we wanted to buy something so he could negotiate cheap prices! Also there was this sick girl and they installed a computer in her room so she could watch movies. And when our bathroom was occupied they just opened up another room downstairs which I could use. These are just a few examples of the fact that the people are genuinly caring and do everything to ensure you enjoy your stay. If you go to Jaisalmer, stay at Abu Safari!

When I think back to that Hotel, I really really want to go back to India. For me, it was perfect there. Why? Let me explain. :) We arrived late at the train station in Jaisalmer. Luckily they picked us up and brought us to the hotel (for free). Due to the fact that there was a mistake with some bookings, our room was already full, but they arranged us two other beds in an other room. But as soon I arrived at the rooftop restaurant, I enjoyed to sleep there. There were already other people sleeping, on comfortable mattresses, with blankets under the clear sky and thousands of stars. The town was enlightened by a few lights and fires and it was just beautiful. Waking up to the sunrise the next morning cheered me up even more. Abu, the owner is such a nice person, who loves to tell funny poems and crazy stories. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. In addition, the price is a very good one. I honestly would have paid more for that. The food on the rooftop restaurant was great too, and we met awesome people there and even made some friends. I did a safari the second day/night and i can only highly recommend that. There i nothing to point out. I cannot really explain why I liked it so much there. Maybe it was just the whole atmosphere. It was funny, clean, friendly, welcoming. Everything together. Hope to be back soon :) Best wishes and regards to the staff and of course Abu, if you read that.
