Avons passé 2 jours et 2 nuits magnifiques. On aurait aimé rester plus longtemps. Les villas sont superbes face à la mer qui est sublime et le personnel adorable. Le petit déjeuner est un vrai repas complet salé et sucré avec un super jus de fruits maison. Le retour en France va être dur dur....... Polé Polé va être maintenant notre devise.

The rooms are HUGE and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is wonderful and the food was great. It felt very very safe and was a great stay overall.

Paradise! The villa, all of the staff, the beach here and this lovely small village have been so wonderful to be a part of! If in doubt where to go on Zanzibar, I would highly recommend this small piece of paradise. We were looking on so many hotels before booking Babu villas. And have been so grateful we ended up here! It has been really great for the kids to stay here. But also if travelling as a couple, I would definitely go here again. Ahsanta sana!

Great service and great staff. They did to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. The boys loved the place, especially the pool, and of course the proximity to the beach. The beach in this area is also one of the best along Jambiani. Pure sand, and no rocks, and shallow so its safe even for the 5 year old to swim around by himmelfartsdag.

We had a great time! The part of our trip that stood out the most to me, aside from having a wonderful few days, was the realization that our stay produced zero non-compostable trash for Jambiani to have to deal with and that all our food was either fruits from the island or homemade from the village and our drinking water was from reusable/recycleable bottles. Babu Villas are really doing a incredible job at responsibly providing a place to go, relax and have a great time without a negative impact on the environment and people around us.

I visited during an intense period of work, seeking a mental sanity break… and that’s exactly what I got. Babu Villas offered a calm, peaceful, and genuinely restorative environment. Our stay in October was absolutely amazing. What we loved about it: the welcoming atmosphere thanks to the team, the location direct at the beach, the pool which was a dream for the kids, the cosines of the villa furnished with love to every detail and equipped with everything necessary and useful (I loved wearing the kimono made out of the local kanga cloth) the delicious breakfast with fresh juice, good coffee, sweet & salty dishes, the various spots inviting to chill.. we haven’t used it but there is also the option to invite a chef for dinner.. together with the view and the sound of the ocean it was perfect for us. The security helped a lot with feeling save also during the night. Thanks Leonie, Selina, Rehema & the whole team who took care of us so well ❤️

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful villa hotel! Nestled right by the sea, the views were breathtaking—especially the sunrise, which was truly mesmerizing. The pool area was perfect, providing relaxation and fun for both adults and kids. The rooms were spotless, and the level of cleanliness throughout the villa was impressive. The healthy breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options for everyone. The descriptions of the area and the island was perfectly explained. It really felt like a home and we enjoyed every moment with our friends and children. Can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Babu Villas is a serene paradise located right on the beach. I took a solo trip as my husband wasn’t able to make the trip with me. Being alone and having the top floor apartment made me feel an extra level of safety (along with the night security that the property staffs). The staff were a huge part of what makes this property so special. Selina, the property manager, was attentive throughout my stay. Rehema was attentive as well - bringing a refreshing drink along with a cool snack made my day. The chef was amazing too (would make simple foods delicious). I had a lovely massage right in the apartment by a lovely lady from the island. The breeze from the ocean made the massage even more relaxing. Remember this is a tropical area and may have mosquitoes, lizards, and ants. The staff was more than helpful to ensure I had no issues (even reminded me to keep the doors closed when there was no breeze from the ocean). If you’re looking to relax and see real parts of the island, Babu Villas is just the place for you.
