Light and airy studio apartment with full kitchen. Spectacular views of Douglas Lake and the Great Smoky Mountains. Extremely private area detached from the main house on the property, and ample area to park your boat. Literally 3 minutes from the public Shady Grove Boat Launch. Six minutes from Interstate I-40 and about 30 minutes from the Dollywood and Pigeon Forge areas. The apartment was cozy and inviting. It was beautifully decorated and organized. The space was very clean! We love our time there, and would most definitely stay here again

Definitely a 10 out of 10!
Gorgeous little secluded apartment! It was the perfect place to stay while in Tennessee to visit friends. Super clean, beautifully furnished, with explicit attention to detail. We will definitely be booking the Lofty Escape again!

Best experience yet!
We found Wendy & Max's Lofty Escape to be the ideal spot for our visit in the Dandridge area and would highly recommend it. As hosts, Wendy & Max were delightful, friendly and responsive. They prepared us well in advance of our arrival for check-in steps and shared detailed driving instructions. Much appreciated! We arrived extremely late on our first night after a long day of travel and were grateful to find a very clean & well appointed loft studio. It was quite apparent Wendy & Max had given a great deal of thought in appointing the loft with creature comforts of home. It is located just across the road from Douglas Lake and offers a lovely view. We found the loft's location to be ideal - a quick drive into the historical town of Dandridge and also Sevierville. Its easy access to main throughfares made for convenient drives to Knoxville, Morristown and Newport as well. With as much fun as we had getting to know the area, it felt especially nice to return to the cozy loft and settle in for relaxing evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wendy & Max's Lofty Escape and very much look forward to our next visit!

Special Retreat
This was the second time we have stayed here in the last couple of months. So very cozy, clean and quiet. It’s like a home away from home. They are wonderful host, always there to help if you need them. Super place and Super host!!!
