Hôtels proches de Mehrangarh Weapons Museum, Jodhpur

the ancient temple (300 years old) was very interesting. the food was decent; we ate breakfast two days. the call to prayer at the crack of dawn is EXTREMELY LOUD right outside the hotel so beware of that. However, a STRONG caution: one of the front desk staff tried to take us out of the hotel to scam us. we wanted to go to the stepwell nearby and this boy insisted on taking us there. I didn’t know why at the time, I thought maybe he wanted to go too. We found out that he was trying to take us to a textiles shop for a commission. This is a common scam in India — drivers or guides will take you to “their friend’s” shop “just to look, no pressure to buy” but you should know that this is ILLEGAL in India, as they make a commission on anything you buy. When we tried to go into a different shop on the way (for our own interest) he tried to prevent us from entering the shop (because he would not receive a commission from this shop) and he further bullied the shop owner to “make it short, woman” so that we would not linger there long. The tourism police showed up and that’s when we realized what was going on. He paid off the policeman while we were in the shop and then waited for us to come out, and again tried to lead us into his friend’s shop. We shook him off and continued onto the stepwell on our own. Yes this is a beautiful hotel on account of the temple it is connected to, but the hotel staff are actively trying to take guests to scam them. So, I would not recommend this hotel overall based on that experience.

도미토리 치고는 가격대가 있다고 생각했지만, 최대 4인 숙소였기 때문에 동행자가 많다면 괜찮은 선택일것 같습니다. 그게아니라면 굳이 도미토리보다는 싱글룸, 더블룸이 좋은 선택일것 같아요. 대표적으로 가볼만한 곳인 특이한 양식의 우물, 시계탑, 메랑가르 포르, 파체티아 힐, 김모한 식당 등 걸어서 최대 20분정도? 거리 였습니다. 워낙 성곽주변에 저렴한 숙소들이 많긴 하지만 이곳도 매력있는 숙소입니다.(숙소 문만 사진찍고 침대를 못찍음ㅠㅠ 이층침대 두개가 벽면에 길게 붙어있고, 화장실 한개가 있었습니다. 따뜻한 물은 엄청 잘 나왔고 에어컨도 빵빵하니 잘나옴, 둘이 사용해서 널널했지만 넷이 사용하면 조금 좁을 수도 있겠다고 느낌)

Stayed here in the hot month of June, but did not find even an ounce of trouble. Narinder ji is very helpful, he helped us with our travel from airport to the haveli. The staff is very friendly and professional, especially Jatinder ji. He was there at every beck and call for any help whatsoever. The food was soo yummy! Loved the simple aloo jeera and dal so much! The hospitality is worth every penny , the rooftop is beautiful and spacious, even the interiors of every room are purely vintage-y! We stayed in the Maharani room and the interior was class apart! Highly recommend for anyone who loves quality stay, food and location!

Phénomique. Un des plus beaux et paisibles endroits que j'ai été depuis longtemps. C'est un ancien cheval de la Rajah transformé en un hôtel de luxe. Les terrains sont superbes, quelque peu privés (vous ne voyez pas beaucoup de foules) et très, très relaxant. Les chambres sont larges et spacieuses et il y a une porche à la fois devant et de derrière pour se détendre. Le restaurant de la ville, qui est en plein air, est un restaurant très bien préparé pour un voyageur fatigué. Le restaurant est très confortable et très confortable.

On reaching the resort, the reception was not aware of our arrival. Although issue was corrected in a minute. At the resort there was party/shooting going, which made the ambience quite noisy. The main problem was food. We did not had any choices. Whatever was made for the party celebration, we had to pick from that only. We first ordered pasta, they said ok and later it was unavailable. Then we ordered hora bhara kabab. 9 very small pieces of kababs were given. When we ordered no-ode the quantity was so small that it can only fill a child. The cost to quantity ratio was very bad. The resort has good ambience. One can stay here, but best not to order any food. The buffet breakfast was also with limited options. No

La literie est bonne mais les oreillers sont tous hauts et il n'y a pas d'autre choix. Le petit déjeuner était super et bien meilleur qu'avant. C'est un hôtel quasi cinq étoiles et un hôtel 4 étoiles. Il n'y a pas de piscine, mais elle n'est pas utilisée. Ce n'est pas loin de la ville mais il n'y a pas d'installations de soutien dans les environs. Doit avoir une voiture pour aller en ville
