Holiday Inn rosebank hotel is located at the center of rosebank and there is a gautrain station just in front of the hotel entrance and also you can access to the rosebank mall directly from the hotel. The entire team on this hotel was super friendly always willing to welcome the guests with pleasure. Breakfast on the 2nd floor served by variety of food selection of which including a cheese plate and an egg station was just enough to boost energy to start up the day. The food served from the hotel restaurant was with a reasonable price so that I could enjoy delicious food without going out for dinner. I would definitely say that it's worth the money to stay in this place. Although I had a concern about the city Johannesburg before the trip but at least in this rosebank area which was totally safe to hang out and walk around the streets with no stress. I had such a great experience in Johannesburg and willing to come back in the future. Thank you once again to leave this beautiful country with good memories. It's was such a pleasure to stay here.

What you see is what you get and then some. The staff are so polite and keen to assist; the rooms are spacious and very clean; and the breakfast has quite some variety. The location is very central within the Sandton area which makes moving around pretty easy especially since they provide shuttle services to and from the Sandton city mall.

During my recent trip to Johannesburg, I had the pleasure of staying at the Mint Hotel 84 on Katherine. From the moment I arrived, the staff at the hotel went above and beyond to ensure I had a seamless and enjoyable stay. Upon landing at the airport, the hotel staff had already arranged transport to collect. This thoughtful gesture made my arrival in a new city much less stressful. It was evident that they truly cared about their guests and wanted to provide the best possible experience. As I entered my room, I was pleased to find it impeccably clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The room also offered the convenience of room service, allowing me to enjoy a delicious meal from the comfort of my own space. One of the standout features of the Mint Hotel 84 on Katherine is its fantastic location. Situated in a prime area, it was conveniently close to many attractions and amenities. Whether I wanted to explore the vibrant city center or relax at the mall, everything was just a stone's throw away. This proximity made it easy to make the most of my time in Johannesburg. Overall, my experience at the Mint Hotel 84 on Katherine was exceptional. The staff's willingness to go the extra mile to assist me was truly commendable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I know for certain that I will be staying here again on my next trip to Johannesburg.

I stayed there several times and definetely will stay again.Very good hotel in Sandton..Modern furnished..bed very big and confort. All staff are helpfull and happy to assist you.Breakfast has lots of international and local fresh choices.Checkin and checkout was very professionel.The Hotel is next to the Nelson Mandela square and lots of restaurants and shops inside the mall.

Situé à Sandown, au cœur de Sandton, voyager dans le quartier était pratique et rapide, donc c'est génial si vous voulez le meilleur de tout à Johannesburg. L'hôtel est relativement récent et très propre, ils semblent respecter des normes d'hygiène élevées et leurs chambres sont fraîches et bien approvisionnées. Ils ont une piscine fantastique et un jacuzzi et c'est là que j'ai aimé passer le plus clair de mon temps, j'aimerais juste qu'il n'y ait pas de clôture évidente immédiatement après la piscine à débordement car je pense que cela va à l'encontre de l'objectif. Ce n'est pas un endroit que je recommande aux clients de haut niveau simplement parce qu'il était trop facile d'aller et venir et qu'il n'y avait pas beaucoup d'intimité à l'extérieur de la pièce. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner ainsi que le menu de la nourriture étaient assez décevants, à l'exception de leurs steaks et de leurs cocktails : la gamme de petit-déjeuner était limitée, donc le fait de forger R240 pp chaque jour ressemblait à une arnaque. Le service était généralement incroyable, avec un personnel chaleureux et amical prêt à vous accueillir à chaque coin de rue.

Pas à la hauteur du standard cinq étoiles, à peine 3,5. Sécurité : Il n’y a pas beaucoup de caméras de surveillance dans cet immense hôtel ; si quelqu’un pousse la porte en pleine nuit, on ne sait pas de qui il s’agit. Aménagement : Le hall est sombre ; Chambre : Éclairage très tamisé Attitude de service : doit être améliorée Climatiseur : un peu bruyant Points positifs : Le spa à l'intérieur est bon et le nettoyage est bon.

If there were another Hilton’s in Johannesburg, that is where I’d be staying. But there is no other option for a loyal Hilton guy like me, so I spent 10 nights at the Hilton Sandton. I will readily admit that from day-to-day, the staff and the facilities were absolutely wonderful. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the Executive Lounge was very well serviced, the restaurant was excellent, the hotel grounds superb, the Business Centre efficient. I had pre-arranged airport pickup and daily business rides through the hotel and our driver MORGAN proved himself many times over to be reliable and flexible thoughout my stay. However, both the checkin and checkout process with the Front Desk were distasteful, disturbed my entire stay, and made me wish I was somewhere else. I had reserved and prepaid for a King room; as a long time Diamond member, I naturally expected some sort of upgrade, especially since I was staying for 10 nights. After 18 hours of flights, and a further 24 hours of layover, all I wanted to do was sleep. I had checked in online and knew my room assignment. At the Front Desk, I handed over my American Express Hilton card, and passports for my wife and I to HOWARD (“an experienced Front Office team member” according to hotel General Manager JOHN MCAREE). At first, HOWARD could not find my reservation and, next, once found thought it had been cancelled and, next, thought the reservation was in my wife’s name (it was not), and finally when he found the reservation, took a copy of my wife’s passport (but not my own for some unknown reason). I then had the temerity to ask if there any possibility of an upgrade. “Oh no no no” said Howard. “Why not” I asked. “Because you checked in online. Once the room is assigned, there is no changing it” said HOWARD. I knew from experience this was rubbish and not in compliance with Hilton policy or procedures. Indeed, when I checkedin online, the Hilton website said that an upgrade would be made available if possible. So I gently persisted in my questioning, and Howard gently insisted that no upgrade was possible since I had checked in online. I believe it was only when I asked for the business card of the General Manager that HOWARD checked with a colleague and, indeed, an upgrade was magically offered. It was the lowest level of upgrade possible, but something is better than nothing. I thanked him for the upgrade, and again asked for the GM’s business card. They had none. Indeed, they wrote down his name for me (three times with three different spellings) but did not know his phone # or email address. (I later googled him and got both). Perhaps due to this little interaction, HOWARD forgot to tell me about the Business Centre, the gift shop, the free shuttle to the local mall, hotel restaurant hours, the WIFI code, the hotel spa, or any of the other hotel services. He did mention the Executive Lounge several times in a tone approaching reverence. Never in my 20 years of experience with Hilton

This place is stunning and the service is excellent. Enjoyed my stay and wished it was not just for one night. The location is great, and not far from the airport. The place is clean, the bed comfortable and the room has everything one might need.
