Beautiful sunsets and starry nights The view from the deck is amazing. We enjoyed sunsets and starry nights. The house feels private and secluded like a cabin in the country. It's close to Julian and Wynola, two areas we love to visit for pie, food and unique shops.

Amazing Julian sunsets We couldn’t wait to see the views from this beautiful property and we were not disappointed. Nothing better than coming home and seeing the expanse of fields, trees and grazing cows. Enjoyed the sunsets by the fire table or from the dining table while playing games. Very comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen. Hope we can return someday.

Mountain Tip Retreat Wonderful, well-maintained home with amazing views. Roger was extremely nice, available and responsive when needed. We look forward to returning soon!

Perfect Location for Families The location was just close enough outside the city for convenience, but up at a hill top with a gorgeous, quiet view! Fully stocked and well laid out for our family of 5. Lots of entertainment with the TV options, board games, and basement games. We enjoyed the back patio the most!

Quiet spot close to town The house feels secluded and quiet yet is only a couple of minutes drive to Julian shops and restaurants. The views from the balcony, on a clear day, are lovely. Regrettably, we didn't see any of those until our day of departure as heavy rain and strong winds persisted for most of our stay, forcing our party to spend more time indoors than we'd hoped. This meant more focus on the property, than expected and while it is spacious and comfortable, some of the fixtures and fittings have seen years of service without renewal. For instance, the heating and cooling system is a tad loud when in use and the en-suite shower offered up little more than a trickle of lukewarm water at any given time. The host, Roger, is very responsive and helped, when asked, with a specific request that improved our visit.

Thanksgiving Great place to stay. We had our family Thanksgiving in Julian a beautiful house to stay in. The host was excellent. We will definitely stay again.
