Par où commencer … Tout d’abord, la chambre était réservée depuis deux mois, à notre arrivée sous prétexte d’un changement de manager, un mail a été envoyé à notre agence de voyage pour qu’ils nous préviennent, pas de mail (mystère) et bien entendu nous avions bien été débités. Après 1h30 de négociation avec notre agence, leur propre fournisseur et l’hôtel…. Le Graal, nous pouvons accéder à une chambre ! Hourra ! Malheureusement, déception en entrant dans la chambre soit disant de « luxe » pas de fenêtre si ce n’est un rectangle vitré à hauteur du lit ou il faut vraiment se pencher pour apercevoir la mer. L’hygiène n’est pas au rdv, draps pas changés, douche sale, la moquette a une odeur, draps a même le sol pour changement à notre départ. En prime, le frigo ne fonctionnait pas. Surprise durant la nuit, des clients se sont trompés de chambre et ont réussi à entrer dans la nôtre avec leur clé. Hyper sécurisant… Quand au service du petit déjeuner, si on peut appeler ça service, prévoyez 1h-1h30 avant d’être servi. Personnel désagréable. Fuyez! De luxe, il n’y a que le nom.

The hotel is located right on the promenade, which is nice. Free park is available just 20m away. The staff was helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Very comfortable bed. I cannot fault it in any way. We only spent one night there, but would definitely return.

We booked a three night stay at this hotel between 10-13 August. When we arrived the room was in a filthy state as you can see in the pictures. The bathroom and the walls were full of mould and the room had an unbearable smell and in complete disregard of any hygienic protocols. We were forced to find alternative accommodation and our holidays at Kalamata were totally ruined. The staff at reception were very rude and when asked to speak to the manager the receptionist refused as ‘the hotel is a LTD company and we don’t have the right as consumers to speak to management’ (!). The hotel denied the state of the room and refused to give us a refund as ‘the room was locked on our booking and they could not rent it to someone else’. However, when we returned on the 12th and asked to see the room again, we were denied entry as the room was already rented to someone else. In other words, the hotel got their money twice and still refused to give a refund. Would you stay in this room? Avoid at all costs.

Panellinion rooms (why they use luxury I do not know) are rooms in an old beautiful building on the Kalamata seafront The building was renovated and 27 rooms were produced.The ones on the first and third floor though they do not have windows!!!This something they do not telll you so a big surprise is expecting you..There are some openings very low on the wall that you have to bend to see outside(to see the road not the sea of course).Do avoid it or pay for a normal room(They call them superior)

Half hour waiting for breakfast and nothing... Nobody asked... Sitting behind empty table...... Nice looking restaurant and bar.. but that's all.... Girl on reception was very nice...... I hit the the road without breakfast.... Never again.... Rooms are nice and clean.

Perfect location. The hotel is exactly on the promenade. The hotel itself has a restaurant on the promenade too which serves roomservice. Breakfast was included which was a lot. If you have specific preferences, mention it beforehand. Otherwise you'll just get the standard breakfast they serve without asking. Room very spacious, no carpet which I prefer, big modern bathroom, everything clean. It mentioned free parking but for us everything was full so we used the paid parking which was only €3 for 24hrs.

Very beautifully situated hotel right on the water. The rooms are quite nicely furnished. The restaurant directly in the hotel is located with its outdoor area directly on the promenade. There was no breakfast buffet through Corona, but always a small selection directly at the table. I found it great to start the day sitting directly on the small harbour. I have one small complaint: the rooms facing the street are a bit noisy at night, especially when drivers really step on the gas and the engine roars. I was there for a whole week and got used to it, but if you choose a hotel directly on the promenade, you should expect it. The location of the hotel also makes it easy to reach the beaches and other restaurants.

Μετά από 45λεπτα μας έφεραν τους καφέδες, τον ένα χυμένο τον μισό και στην προσπάθεια να καθαρίσει ο σερβιτόρος με τις χαρτοπετσέτες εξεκολουθούσε να αδειάζει τον καφέ πάνω στο τραπέζι. Μια ώρα μετά την παραγγελία μας ήρθε μια κυρία με περίσσεια οικειότητα και χαλαρότητα να μας ενημερώσει πως είχε χαλάσει η κρεπιέρα και αν θέλουμε ακόμα τις κρέπες σε 10 λεπτά θα είναι έτοιμες. Μόνο και μόνο επειδή τα παιδιά επέμεναν περιμέναμε και σε 20 λεπτά ήρθαν οι κρέπες που η 1 είχε μέσα κομμάτι από νάιλον συσκευασία. Αφού ενημερώσαμε και για αυτό πληρώσαμε 26 ευρώ 2 καφέδες 2 κρέπες και άπειρες τυπικες συγγνώμης! Μαλιστα σε συζήτηση με διπλανό τραπέζι μας είπαν πως είχαν παρόμοια ταυτόχρονη εμπειρία με υπερβολική καθυστέρηση και υπερκοστολόγηση των υπηρεσιών. Εξαίρετη ευκαιρία να χαλάσεις τη διάθεση σου Κυριακάτικα!!!
