Mayfair Himalayan Spa Resort

We were there for 3 nights in mid-February. Place is serene, beautifully decorated with patio garden lawn and blooming colourful flowery archways. Service was superb as was restaurant. Staff were very helpful, and greeting " Namaste" came from every direction. We used coffee shop for quick lunch with very appetising menu. The only issue was that our room was probably too far down from the heated tank, and it took over 10.mibs to start getting hot water for shower lots of water wasted! The Ambience of the place and nature is superb, as was the unique Annie Perry heritage residence since 1900 with many famous world persilonalities stayed there in long past.

Great location , iconic historical hotel going back to 1900’s. Kid and family friendly . Lush lawns and green surroundings with great views of Kanchenjunga, if one is lucky not to have a misty day Only ONE BIG ISSUE are the room acoustics as one can clearly hear voices in the corridor and adjoining rooms. However if one is ok with that then Mayfair is a perfect hotel to use as a base for your local and out of town excursions Special call out to Manoj Jana, Head F&B and his team. Great hospitality , attentive service and delicious food . Kanchan, Sunaina, Anju, Arkadeep, Subedh were outstanding. So was Chef Sanjay. One could notice Mr Jana’s and Chef Sanjay’s watchful helpful eyes helping their respective teams to excel. The travel desk was a one woman show and Supriya was calm collected and super efficient Overall, we had a wonderful time at Mayfair Kalimpong

This is the second time we are visiting this property and as we have stated in our pat year review, Mayfair Himalayan spa resort, Kalimpong is home away from home. Firstly, the weather is very pleasant and soothing and this resort offers a very relaxing experience combined with beautiful and well maintained gardens. The room is very spacious, comfortable and user friendly. The housekeeping department destve a thumbs up👍for their service and attentiveness. The library is very serene, peaceful and well maintained with lots of informative books. The buffet breakfast and dinner spread is excellent and very delicious. We would like to thank all the chefs for the delicious dishes. The restaurant staff are very friendly, helpful and very attentive. The massages and facials in the spa excellent and by far the best we had. The whole property is well maintained. We would like to thank each and every staff by name and the chauffeur too, for their exceptional hospitality. They are very helpful and friendly. And, we would like to THANK the whole management for making our 39 th wedding anniversary the most MEMORABLE one so far. Thank you Ranjeeta mam and everyone, for their heartwarming celebration. And we were really overwhelmed with the room decoration on that day. It was really lovely. Thank you so much everyone for the pleasant and wonderful surprise on our marriage day. 🙏 Once again, thank you each and every one, for making our stay a memorable, heartfelt and pleasant one. This is the second time we are visiting this property. As we had already stated in our earlier review, Mayfair Himalayan spa resort, Kalimpong is a home away from home. We stayed for 26 nights and took back with us a lot of heartfelt memories.😊 Firstly, the room is very spacious and comfortable and very user friendly. The housekeeping department deserve a thumbs up👍 for their service and attentiveness. The library is well maintained and is very quiet and peaceful with lots of of books with both information and knowledge. The play area has carroms, billiards, air hockey and a kids zone also. They offer a good entertainment. The massages and facial in spa are excellent. They are the best we had till date. The gardens are well maintained.They make this property morpeaceful, beautiful and peaceful. The buffet breakfast and dinner are excellent. The spread and taste, both are very good. Thank you chefs, for that tasty food. The restaurant staff are very attentive and helpful. Mamma mia has very good menu options. Kalimpong fried rice,cultlets, tea cakes, pastries were excellent. We would like to thank Mr. Vishal, the chauffeur for seamless pickup and dropping. Also, the whole staff were very helpful, attentive and courteous. We would like to thank each and everyone for their exceptional service. And the weather here is very beautiful with cool breeze, beautiful gardens in the resort offering viwes of the majestic Kanchenjunga mountain. And here comes the sweetest surprise from the management. They have given us a MEMORABLE and a sweet celebration of our 39th wedding anniversary. The whole staff made it truly the most memorable wedding anniversary so far in our life. A big THANK YOU to Ranjeeta mam and the whole staff of Mayfair Kalimpong 🤗. We are really overwhelmed with joy for the celebration at Kanchenjunga Hall and also with the room decoration. The room was very nicely decorated. I have attached the corresponding photos too. Really very happy to celebrate with all of you. We would like to thank the whole management and staff of Mayfair Kalimpong for making our stay pleasant, exceptional,heartwarming and making us feel like home. The best hotel experience I ever had very good staff and nice service very good food with good chef and very nice staff behaviour nice experience had a very good time in the hotel people where very helpful gaming place was weary well mentained by the staff

Beautiful place, friendly and accommodating staff. Isaac was helpful at the front desk. The view from the courtyard was truly breathtaking. Rooms are very spacious and beautiful. The food was okay, I think it can improve. Rest everything was great. Would definitely recommend staying here.
