Amaya Signature Dambulla

.Staying at Amaya Lake for three nights was the best experience I've had. The event support was fantastic, helping us successfully host our night functions and cricket match. The staff was incredibly helpful and proactive, showing true hospitality and professionalism. Special shoutouts to GM Mr. Amith, Mr. Sanjaya, Mr. Jayarathna and his team, Chef, and John. Every staff member we encountered was amazing. We've stayed at many star resorts across the country, but Amaya Lake was by far the best, and we're definitely planning to return for our next vacation. The food was mouth-watering, the rooms were clean, and the surroundings were peaceful and calming.

The breakfast buffet and dinner buffet are equally delicious with a wide selection to satisfy all guests, on top of this there are a few cooking stations where staff are happy to cook you the chosen dish of the day. The staff were very attentive, making sure we were completely satisfied during our stay, they were unphased when we arrived approximately 7 hours earlier than planned and even offered golf buggy lifts back to our room if we didn’t fancy walking after dinner. The location is not only brilliant but incredibly peaceful and the bed is one of the comfiest I’ve ever stayed in. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We were feeling exhausted after the long journey but also excited to see what this resort had in store for us. At our arrival, we were warmly greeted by Salinda - the bell desk supervisor who made sure that we felt truly welcomed from his very first approach. After checking in with Nimanthi- the Receptionist who offered us Ambarella juice as welcome drink along with fragrant wet towels which was amazing & refreshing; she ensured that everything was taken care of throughout our entire stay. Any small request or query we had during our time there seemed to be her top priority! Even before settling into villa, housekeeping staff administered toothpaste and brush upon direction of Nimanthi. Our Villa turned out to be spacious enough for kids to play around comfortably while bathroom tidy and clean too plus room decor itself mesmerized us greatly proving Housekeeping team's best efforts They also graciously attended each thing requeste. Few letdowns are reorganization required TV channels.bedroom and bathroom required placement rug covering slippery floor surfaces after using the bathroom. Also added touch Personalization and amenities provided soft yet quirky imprints left lasting impression. To add more joyfulness Vimukthi ( Buffet restaurant head waiter) kept welcoming nature reserved elementary dining table .at Breakfast buffet many choices available relished Cardamom cinnamon honey drizzled locally harvested fruits Kids surely explored different options enjoyed quality food used entirely fresh ingredients But highlight has Supun chef taking live station duty delightedly customising omlet according individual demand served cheese garnish fried egg dish especially prepared loved daughter Coffee could have been slightly warmer though Dinner theme much diverse nor Chinese cuisine included alas Kitchen department did offer extensive platters prove memorable experience The evening saw meeting lovely Nishantha Lobby bartender full enthusiasm glad work under prestigious company revealing tour information Meanwhile Chef Supun excelled readying pasta dishes guests requirements regardless order size; very generous and content Chef Nesni pastry chef also gratefully acknowledged for her services The head waiter, Vimukthi became the hero of our visit as he reserved a specific table in his section resulting ideal location by serving personally paying attention tendencies offered impeccable service during dinner & breakfast buffet Undoubtedly, Keerthi- buggy driver made sure we had umbrellas to protect us from getting wet all along rainy day Beautiful Christmas de

We had a wonderful three nights at Anaya Lake which is set in a quiet, beautiful location with easy access to surrounding tourist sites. Food was very good and the position excellent beside the lake. Accommodation is a short walk from the eating and central area but buggies available to transport cases and those who might require a lift. We wouldn’t hesitate about returning if in the area again.

We had the most amazing time at Amaya Lake, Dambulla. Our room was the best, with its own plunge pool, simply gorgeous. It was my birthday which was celebrated by the Manager and team bringing a cake to our table and singing Happy Birthday. How thoughtful. The staff are exceptional and the food and cleanliness of the hotel top notch. Thank you Sanjaya Bandara Tennekoon and team for making our stay so special. Unfortunately my husband didn't manage to get a video as he pressed the wrong button!! We would highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Amaya Lake is a very beautiful and peaceful hotel. Ideal place to rest and have a contact with nature. Bungalows are very comfortable. People working there are very active and helpful. Some of them made an excellent job and I want to remind them: Chathuranga as manager, Nuwan as barman and Manjula as room attendant. I and my wife will definitely return to Amaya Lake.
