Holiday Inn Express & Suites KANSAS CITY SPORT COMPLEX AREA by IHG

Check in was easy. When we arrived to our room it had a strong air freshener smell and the temperature was warm. We went to turn on the tv and the hdmi and cord for the tv were missing. I called the front desk and they came up immediately and fixed the tv. He informed me that they had just deep cleaned and painted the room. Once the tv cords were found I took off my shoes. I noticed the floor was wet. I assumed when they deep cleaned they shampooed the carpets. Didn’t sleep very well because the people upstairs sounded like they were wrestling or bouncing balls. Called the front desk again to inform them of the noise and they took care of it. It did take all night for the room to cool down and the air kept shutting on and off. It wasn’t an awful stat but could have been better. Oh and the breakfast wasn’t very goood.

I come here a lot and I will just stay here

挺好的，前台接待人員正好是哈薩克斯坦人，看到護照後超預期的友好～環境ok，世界盃期間去的，打車到體育館很方便

We were never there The hotel was not able to change the dates, neither ******* We contacted both parties Extensive explanations few minutes after making the mistake They charged us anyway without being able to solve the issue I will be working with my credit card in order to get a fair treatment We were respectful and very quick at trying to solve the mistake we made with the date

There was nothing awful about this property. It was just a bit run down. The tile floor in the public areas was cracked in some places. The carpet in our room had spots of some kind on it. The hair dryer appeared super old and somewhat dirty. Otherwise, the bathroom seemed clean and the bed comfortable. The property was just ok - not the standard we expect from a Holiday Inn Express.

Unfortunately this appears to be an older facility. The room was musty and damp. The pull out couch mattress was very old and thin. It was very easy to hear people in the hallways or the rooms nearby.

The hotel was getting tired in need of a refresher. There wasn’t any cleaning service for the 2 nights we were there. Breakfast was good for a complimentary meal. For the price we paid I expected a nicer experience especially for holiday inn.

The room was cleaned and housekeeping was great. Unfortunately the tv did not have cable and it took a while to get staff to provide another one . The second tv was cracked. Also the shower head water pressure was not high enough to shower and the toilet broke as well. Staff was slow on getting help but once the maintenance man was notified he fixed and replaced everything that was broken extremely quickly. New tv and new shower head and he fixed the toilet. So shout out to the maintenance guy on staff .

The hotel itself is in a good location and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast was good. But the hotel front desk is lousy. No one is ever there so there are long waits to get assistance
