Hôtels proches de Bell Square, Céphalonie

- Nous avons séjourné au Alley City Hotel du 15 au 20 juillet, dans une Deluxe loft suite, dans un contexte de forte chaleur en Grèce qui a influé sur la qualité de notre voyage. Arrivés le soir après 22h, nous avons occupé cette belle chambre au 3ème étage, mais la climatisation n'était pas installée, alors que dans bon nombre d’hôtels, elle est activée pour rien (gaspillage). Il faisait extrêmement chaud et la climatisation, une fois déclenchée, était insatisfaisante. Notre arrivée n'a ainsi pas suffisamment été anticipée. Cette climatisation, les jours suivants, a fonctionné de manière aléatoire : tôt le matin, un vrombissement se produisait à l'extérieur de la chambre, via un gros tuyau situé à la droite du balcon. Il est possible que cela soit lié à un dérèglement général dû aux fortes chaleurs. Pour cela, nous aurions aimé avoir dans la chambre de l'eau, non seulement le premier jour, mais tous les jours. L'hôtel est suffisamment cher pour se permettre d'offrir de l'eau dans ce contexte. D'autres le font. Autre petit détail : un nettoyage approximatif en chambre, car nous avons trouvé des tasses mal lavées, avec l'une d'elle contenant du sucre séché dans le fond. - Le petit déjeuner était de qualité, offrant notamment une gamme variée de produits salés grecs. Il n'était parfois pas évident de se placer, toutes les tables n'étant pas mises, pas suffisamment débarrassées (le jeune homme qui s'en occupait le faisait manifestement en fonction des arrivés, et les tables n'étaient pas toujours nettoyées). - Nous avons par contre apprécié les conseils et prestations proposés par la personne à l'accueil, qui s'est chargé de nous réserver une voiture pour notre séjour. Et lorsque nous l'avons rendue, nous apprécions beaucoup le fait d'avoir pu laisser nos bagages dans l'hôtel, alors que nous n'y résidions plus. Pour cela, nous recommandons vivement le Alley City Hôtel.

The Hotel Aenos is in a fantastic location on the main square in Agostoli which is an atmospheric area with a host of excellent restaurants and eating places quite literally on the doorstep with all the attractions of Agostoli very close by within easy walking distance It is a modern and spacious hotel with very comfortable rooms all with full facilities Front facing balconies have fantastic views over the atmospheric main square below Breakfast is taken in a spacious and airy dining room / bar ,self service buffet style with a good selection of cold meats , serials and hot food The staff are all extremely helpful and friendly, particularly Fotis on Reception who is a real character A superb location with all the attractions of Agostoli within I easy walking distance We highly recommend the Hotel Aenos, so much so that we have already made a reservation to stay at the hotel next year Jeff and Karen

Extraordinary black hotel. We arrived late and were greeted by an exuberant receptionist. Quite frankly we were tired and wanted a quick drink. She showed us maps of the island and extolled the island. The corridors are dark. The blinds are pulled across the windows making the pool area unseeable, why? The pool is very small and the pool rooms face each other. When we went, the sun didn’t really hit the pool. Our room was lovely, nice bed, balcony. The balconies are odd, they are slatted so you lack privacy, plus we had rain and it came through the slats. The design of the hotel felt like being in Kim Kardashian’s house. Big shout out to Angeline who served breakfast. A la carte eggs was a nice touch and always superbly cooked. The hotel can call you a cab and book sun beds. We used Costa Costa beach, taxi 8e sun beds 35e, adds up but the beach and beds are worth the cost. You can use other hotel pools, we used LoGos cocktail bar pool, no charge for beds. You can get the ferry to Lixouri for 6e return. We had windy weather and sadly didn’t take a boat trip. The bedroom has a lighting system that takes getting use to, we struggled to work out how. To keep some lights on and others off. Daily water is provided in room. There is no beach in Argostli, but you can get a taxi or bus to beaches. Eat in restaurants that you check reviews first as there are some fantastic and less so.

This hotel is amazing, view alone makes it 100% worth it. The staff were so kind and friendly, went out of their way to make sure we were having a great time. The breakfast was lovely, we ate in the restaurant for dinner twice and the food was absolutely delicious. Such a quiet hotel, it felt like we were there on our way most of the time even though there were other guests. The location of the hotel is perfect, Agia Effimia is gorgeous, plenty of options for food etc. Small beaches are absolutely gorgeous and perfect if you prefer quieter beaches with not many people there. Our room was clean and tidy, no complaints at all. Pool was excellent, pool bar available with drinks and snack foods to buy. We don't drive so one of our worries was not being able to get about to see other parts of Greece. The hotel has a taxi service and can call taxi to take you anywhere you want to go for very good prices. We had one of the best and most relaxing holidays we have ever had at Kefalonia Bay Palace!
