Ccb Bruskos Hotel

Had an amazing week at Bruskos. The rooms are simply gorgeous, very tastefully decorated, comfortable bed, even coffee pod machines. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, they really look after and value their customers and couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely simple lunches served, freshly made cocktails, local wine. The local olives are so tasty! Pool was freezing - which was a shame, but I still swam every day. Couple of restaurants very close, as well as a couple of bars. Very quiet area but we were late in the season and it suited us. Thankyou to all for looking after us so well!

This was our 4th stay at Bruskos . We love it because immediately we arrive we feel relaxed. We have got to know the staff there and without exception they do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. In reality there is a great small family run hotel with a swimming pool, plenty of sunbeds and a bar for drinks, lunchtime snacks and ice creams. They can provide evening meals on demand but we have always gone out to the local restaurants where the quality is good and offer value. They provide a fairly basic breakfast buffet with a few extras. We like the rooms there. We book a junior suite every time and this has always been fine. They keep rooms and the hotel public areas very clean. Since the installation of a lift it means all rooms are now accessible for those not able to manage the stairs. The hotel can help book tours , car hire etc. However this isn't a hotel where you can expect lots of facilities. We have already booked another week at Bruskos next year because we like it so much. Perhaps one point to mention is that rooms that face the swimming pool also face the bar area and depending upon the mix of clients in the evening at the bar light sleepers may find that the noise from the bar a bit if a nuisance as the bar is open up to midnight. We find that the hotel offers very good value for money. The hotel is at one end of the resort where there are mainly individual houses and small apartment blocks. There is one main restaurant (Kafesas) close by but most of the other restaurants are 20 minute to half hour walk up the main link road. The pavement is of a poor standard and the maintenance of verges and bushes next to the pavement is also poor. There are also a number of closed businesses on the main road which together with poor highway maintenance gives that part of the resort a run down appearance. Over the past few years the beach at the Bruskos end of the resort has substantially disappeared. Several of the access paths to the remaining beach have disappeared or cut short because of the eroding cliff faces. The beach at the other end of the resort is still fine along and appears thriving with many businesses. Overall a great hotel for adults that is clean and welcoming, but don't expect the range of facilities larger hotels offer.
