Hôtels proches de Centennial Dog Park, Comte De Kern

Cette évaluation a lieu pendant le CoVID (février 2022). Mon épouse et moi avons visité des amis à Bakersfield. Nous avons passé une nuit. L'hôtel est situé juste à côté de l'autoroute dans une zone industrielle avec d'autres hôtels situés autour de lui. La zone autour de l'hôtel dispose de nombreux restaurants à manger rapides et de quelques sièges. Mais avec cela nous avons dit que nous avons eu un séjour agréable. L'hôtel était propre et le personnel était amiable. Le contrôle en cours était rapide et facile. Ils ont un petit magasin près de la concierge où vous pouvez seulement des chips, du soda et du canard. Le lobby était agréable et le restaurant était ouvert (heureux de voir qu'il était ouvert). La chambre était agréable, propre et avec beaucoup de chambre. Nous resterions ici encore.

Nous avons eu une mauvaise première impression lorsque le personnel du bureau frontal n'avait pas de masques, malgré le signe clair de la nécessité de masques! Le petit déjeuner est servi à la suite de la visite de l'hôtel. La salle de bain était bien éclairée, avec beaucoup d'espace, mais le fan était bruyant. La douche était bonne. Le lit était confortable. Nous avons marqué au Black Angus pour un excellent dîner. C'est une zone avec de nombreux hôtels et un certain bruit de trafic. Le petit déjeuner était assez bon, avec des étuis chauds traités, un fabricant de waffles et des œufs durs cuits.

We stayed here on a planned trip home. We stayed using our Holiday Inn Rewards. As usual, we were given a less desirable room. The room was on the 2nd floor and the window overlooked a walled-off rooftop that contained A/C units. There was no view at all. The lamp next to the couch didn't turn on. I finally figured out that it was unplugged and pulled out the couch to access the outlet. And when we went to use the refrigerator, it was warm and not working. We were very disappointed in the room and it was by far the worst HIE we stayed at on this trip. We stayed at 7 properties total. The property is under remodel, but we were told that the rooms were all completed. The bathroom was modern, and the pillows were perfect. The breakfast did include a Belgium waffle maker which is rare at any HIE anymore. So, I did enjoy that. And the girl at the front desk was super friendly. The final observation we made was that the pictures shown of the hotel do not show the spiked fence that surrounds the property. They have padlocked the 2 pedestrian gate entries off of the sidewalk along with one of the car entries. There is only one way to get into the property. It made us wonder about the safety of the area. Also, there is no crosswalk to get across to the other side of a 4-lane highway which is where most of the entertainment and restaurants are. You need to walk a block in either direction to access a light to safely cross.

Bon petit déjeuner. Une courte période de séjour.

Driving from the Bay Area to Death Valley, we decided to stay one night at this Marriott to break up the drive. It also allowed us to redeem a Marriott e-certificate. In our experience sometimes using an e-certificate gets you the most modest accommodation available. This was not the case here. Consistent with our profile we were given a room on the 8th floor looking south toward the mountains. Granted we were also looking over the back parking lot but we believe that was better than overlooking the busy street in front of the hotel. We found the room to be well appointed and up-to-date. We were frankly a little surprised given other reviewers more critical comments. We admit we were probably fortunate that there were no events at the adjacent convention center so things were probably a little slow in the hotel anyway. Regardless, we were delighted to have registration allow us an early check-in (at 2:00 pm). It allowed us enough time to explore the city a little before going out to dinner. Self-parking, at no charge no less, was convenient and allowed us easy access into the hotel right near the elevators. It was a perfect layover experience.

Ceci était notre deuxième séjour ici. Les deux séjours étaient juste une arrêt de nuit sur le chemin de la maison. Les deux séjours étaient excellents et très agréables. L'hôtel lui-même est soigneusement propre et bien pris en charge. Le personnel à la fois au check-in et au check-out étaient terribles et agréables. Si nous voulions arrêter une fois de plus, oui, nous voulions. La chambre était très agréable et très confortable. Mon seul critique serait le petit déjeuner, pas leur faute vraiment, mais le petit déjeuner d'oeufs écrasés de l'armée standard HIE commence à nous moins attrayant. Peut-être que l'HIE devrait choisir de faire des changements/différences???

I stayed here last Dec 2021 and on my way to assist with a fire as a volunteer with the Red Cross. I booked this hotel via Priceline. When I went to check out of Priceline the screen told me ”the room rate was no longer available” so I went back into the Priceline portal (within the same session) and booked the next available room option at this hotel. On arrival, front desk person, Tina insisted I double booked. I explained the problem and she was ”very quick” to wipe her hands of the problem saying ”if I had of booked the hotel through them she could have done something otherwise take it up with Priceline.” It just doesn't make sense a single traveler would book two rooms! She insisted the only person that could decide if I warranted a refund was Manager, Abigail Murray. When you call for Abigail she is never there nor does she respond to emails! I'm told she's only there two days a week. In the end, Priceline said they couldn’t refund the money owed to me until Baymont authorized the reversal and they claim Baymont refused to credit me back. In my mind, I’ve been double charged and Wyndham/Baymont has STOLEN my money and has been paid twice for services never received. I’ve NEVER received such awful customer service from a Manager of a hotel and someone who has gone out of her way to ignore my reasonable requests and concerns! Simply put, this hotel does NOT deserve your or my business! Please don’t reward them by booking your hotel needs at this location.

Un motel typique est le point d'ancrage sur la route de la Vallée de la Mort au parc forestier national de Sequoia. La ville n'étant pas grande, les installations annexes à proximité de l'hôtel sont relativement complètes. Il y a des supermarchés et des restaurants. Le parking est également très pratique, juste à la porte de la chambre. La chambre a deux étages. La réception vous demandera si vous souhaitez monter ou descendre les escaliers. Nous avons choisi en bas si nous avions plus de bagages. Le personnel est très gentil. Il y a un réfrigérateur et un four micro-ondes dans la chambre, et vous pouvez préparer des repas simples pour le lendemain dans la grande zone pittoresque
