Villa 8 Nightingale

95km south of the city of Joensuu with the lake Puruvesi located 20 m away (416,35 km²). The lake has a shallow sand floor suitable for children. A shared beach, boat and pier are available for use. The holiday villa made from planed log in 2015 includes a spacious kitchen and 2 bedrooms each with 2 beds. The living room is equipped with a convertible sofa. A laundry room, electric sauna and a large partially furnished terrace. A travel cot for toddlers and an attachable high chair will be delivered to the cottage when reserved in advance. A modern, well-lit and spacious villa opens up to a beautiful view to the lake Puruvesi. The villa locates by the lake in the Karelia Country Club holiday centre which has a combined 8 holiday cottages and 2 beach saunas. A wireless internet connection, beach sauna, grill shelter with a smoke grill, 2 wilderness lodges, a volleyball and petanque court, 2 boats and a pier are all available for customer use.

The holiday centre’s environs are great for mushroom and berry picking.The service building has a dryer machine and a large freezer for collected berries, mushrooms or fish. Eggs, vegetables and meat may be bought from a farm 3km away from the villa.

The nearest city is Kitee, 30km. Punkaharju 33km. The ice on lake Puruvesi has a ski trail and an ice hole for fishing purposes in the winter. Snowmobile trails on ice are about 200 m away.
