The “Diamond House” was built in the 80's by a local man named Mr. Diamond who was known for his smoked fish. Located only a few blocks from the water one can see filtered views of Tongass Narrows and Gravina Island. The “Diamond House” is surrounded by mature indigenous trees such as red cedar, western hemlock and Sitka spruce, which give the property its park-like feel. A truly relaxing and comfortable vibe waiting for you to experience.SPACE When booking the “Diamond House” guests have private access and are permitted to the entire house. There is ample parking within the property to park cars, trucks, and RV’s. Boats/trailers are allowed but upon approval only. Guests are welcomed to use the covered porch next to the house. Firewood will be provided for the fire pit for those cool clear nights. The owners live in a separate house on the property with their standard poodle, Rainy. A binder with “things to do” in the area will be provided along with brochures, hiking info, pertinent phone numbers, dining info and other recommendations.
