The Marriott is already an older Hotel, which added two wings recently. Three of those buildings consist of suites. Thus the name. We had a two bedroom duplex suite. Amazing rooms with three huge flatscreen TVs, large bathroom and a small kitchen. However, there is one big negative: They do not offer the Marriott signature beds. They only have economical, very hard and uncomfortable mattresses. When I addressed this problem at the reception, three different people didn’t have no idea what I was talking about. Considering that I am a Marriott Bonvoy member, and have a lot of experience with the various hotels, I would expect that the respective brand offers the signature bed. Considering that Marriott has some 20 hotels in the area, you better check first, if they offer the respective beds (e.g. sweet sleeper bed, heavenly bed). The resort is huge. They connected all the pools, to a total of 3 km for swimming. The beach is nice, although due to the continuous breeze and slight chop, the sand is stirred up and the water is a bit murky. There are a couple of cheap Thai restaurants and Massage places on the beach. The thai restaurant in the hotel is quite good and not too expensive. Italian restaurant is really excellent. The breakfast is also very good. They offer of course various Asian choices. Try it!

We spent 10 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect for our needs! An utterly beautiful hotel with clean rooms and facilities and the kindest, most helpful staff I've ever come across in a hotel. Our room was spacious and beautiful, with direct access to the 2.4km pool - this was a great feature and it felt like we had a bit of private pool whilst being able to swim all the way to the main pool. The pool also adds to the feeling that you're in a village community rather than a commercial hotel, as we made friends with our ”neighbours” and would see them from time to time when we were out swimming. The hotel's beach is clean and stunning, the sun beds are thickly padded and comfortable, and we made use of the bodyboarding and kayaking equipment on our stay. The restaurants at the hotel were incredible! The main ones are Ta-Krai (Thai), Sakura (Japanese), and Olive (Italian). Before arriving I was a bit sceptical at how authentic the restaurants would be but the hotel has ensured they've brought in the best chefs who could bring authentic cuisine to Khao Lak. The sushi at Sakura was probably the freshest and tastiest I've ever had (albeit, I've not been to Japan yet, but it's still better than all the London sushi places where we live and even better than Nobu). We loved Olive restaurant too, in particular their Sunset BBQ evening where you're spoilt for choice on meats, seafood, sides, salads, and a full-on Italian cheese and ham bar with really delicious, authentic selections. Chef Enzo there was dishing out cheeses to us and making recommendations what to pair each cheese with and was so helpful (and the cheeses were incredible). We opted for the Breakfast and Dinner package and we're really glad we did as we loved going back to those restaurants over the 10 days. For lunch we'd eat at the hotel cafes, or out at excursions, or at local restaurants adjacent to the hotel, such as Phen's (delicious!). We also bought a spa package at Quan Spa in the hotel and booked in lots of treatments throughout our stay. The spa is beautiful and the massage therapists were excellent; it's a bit pricier than outside the hotel but the spa environment is worth it for that luxe feeling (and still cheaper than in the UK!). Overall, I don't think we found and faults with our stay at JWM and we will definitely come back in the future, perhaps for our anniversaries! And we would highly recommend it to all our family and friends!

Œufs bénédictine… charcuterie, fromages … jus de fruits frais … pancake banane nutella … le top ! Super massages dans cadre d’exception ( avec tarifs conséquents ) Attention tous les prix sont à majorer des frais de service et des taxes, soit 17% environ !

Fabuleux petit hôtel. Nous voyageons en Thaïlande depuis 5 mois et cet hôtel est dans mon top 2 car tout était parfait. Résidé dans une villa de piscine. La piscine est vraiment pour s'asseoir, mais très bon pour le refroidissement avec un verre. La chambre était sans lit et grande. Le lit et les pièges étaient si confortables et propres. La salle de bain avait tout et était spacieuse avec douche immense. La piscine principale est très propre et moderne. Personnel super amical. Vous aurez besoin d'une voiture ou d'un taxi ou d'un scooter. Nous avons eu une voiture, donc pas de problème. Le camping est à la fin nord de la zone. Il était un peu difficile de trouver mais tourner à gauche sur le signe de la route et descendre la piste que vous êtes venu dans le dos du camping. Très de parking. Petit déjeuner servi. Grand café! Les œufs de Brekky thaïlandais standards toast fruit etc suffisamment pour commencer votre journée.

Entre la mer et les rues principales Je suis allé, mais je peux louer une moto à l'hôtel, donc je pense que ceux qui peuvent conduire devraient louer une moto. Rien, sauf un café de mode. Il est possible d'atteindre la mer dans 30 minutes à pied et de passer dans 20 minutes à pied dans la rue principale. C'est un bon endroit pour se détendre. Cet hôtel est comme une entreprise familiale, tout le monde est très aimable

Uns hat die Unterkunft gut gefallen,wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas Abseits. Es stehen aber kostenlos Fahrräder zur Verfügung und auch Roller kann man sich direkt an der Unterkunft leihen. Das Resort ist sehr familiär und alle sind dort sehr hilfsbereit. Für eine kleine Erfrischung steht auch ein kleiner Pool zur Verfügung.

Really enjoyed our stay at apsara but was kind of let down by a few things. Firstly the beach club is reserved solely for those staying in villas, you do get a meal token to eat there once but even then your only allowed certain things off the menu. Which kinda makes you feel your not worthy when your sat with a4 sized menu and told your allowed to order 1 item from each box when those dining there are given a much bigger menu to choose from also the only entertainment that's at the hotel is in the beach bar so other than sitting on the beach in the sand and again looking like a 2nd class citizen while those in villas sit on nice comfy seats, enjoying the entertainment, the bar us common folk are allowed to use that has the same cocktails,serves the same beer as beach hut is situated just behind it so once again you are kept away also I may add there is very limited seating in this bar area Secondly your way out in the sticks which is nice but the fact there no entertainment means days and evening become very boring very quickly there is no shops within a 40 minute walk so its 300-400 baht (£8-£10) each way to go into town where's there's plenty to do some really nice restaurants a market and various bars etc. The food in the all inclusive buffet is very nice just there isn't alot to choose from and again if you want to you can visit the the other restaurants if your willling to pay for your food, The staff at the hotel are amazing, very polite and always have a smile on the face. Overall I doubt we will be returning as its just not for us its perfect if you want a silent holiday with just you and a book and a peaceful holiday we would of just like a little more entertainment and maybe some activities during the day and not made feel like we are not worthy.

Le personnel du restaurant est sympa mais la gestion est médiocre. Nous avons célébré notre nouvel an à l'hôtel avec une expérience ennuyeuse à cause de la mauvaise préparation de la direction. Mauvaise coordination entre les clients et le personnel de la réception. Le complexe n'est pas bien entretenu. Nous ne reviendrons plus ici à l'avenir, à moins qu'ils ne changent.

Chambres spacieuses et confortables avec une vue magnifique sur la plage et la mer, situées juste de l'autre côté d'une petite route; hôtel au calme, loin de toute agitation, très propre et bien entretenu; deux piscines dont l'une d'elles n'est pas accessible aux enfants, un peu à l'écart. Le personnel est vraiment adorable et à l'écoute de nos besoins (mention spéciale à Jee). L'hôtel propose un restaurant et un autre se trouve à proximité. Prévoir la location d'un scooter pour se déplacer de manière autonome (le restaurant à côté de l'hôtel en propose à des prix très corrects). Des plages aménagées (transats, restaurants, massages) se trouvent à dix minutes en scooter / voiture, du côté de l'Hôtel Marriott.

Une chambre spacieuse est une bonne internet et une vue sur la zone avec piscine. La chambre est propre, le climatisation est bruyante. Le lit avec tous les conforts - maternelle, poulets, lingerie. La disponibilité d'un bain est séparée plus. La pression de l'eau est bonne. L'eau est vraie avec goût et odeur. L'internet n'est pas très rapide, mais regarder le film sur YouTube est même possible. Nous n'avons pas eu de chance avec les grilles, à savoir près du lit, chargeant que le téléphone, que le portable s'est dégagé. Les petits-déjeuners sont variés : fromages, produits à base de viande, fruits, légumes, omelettes et autres plats à œufs, choix de pain, café, thé. L'hôtel est vaste et vert, plusieurs piscines, la plage est équipée. En général, en général. Il y a un magasin sur le territoire avec des prix tout à fait acceptables. Utilisé le service de rum - la pizza est délicieuse, l' salade de César avec la quantité normale de poulet.
