Purana Resort Koh YAO Noi

J'ai passé 2 nuits merveilleuses à Purana grâce à Mar et Aslan, leur hospitalité m'a donné l'impression de rester dans ma deuxième maison, j'ai aussi appris à connaître un peu plus les gens de Koh Yao Noi grâce à eux, ce qui serait certainement l'un des meilleurs. raisons pour lesquelles je reviendrais ici :)

L'hôtel est décoré avec style, chambre avec vue sur le jardin sur la colline. La zone devant la chambre a un coin salon, bonne ambiance, point de vue et villa avec piscine, très belle vue, construction d'une nouvelle maison à côté de la mer, très agréable à vivre, tout le personnel est adorable, bien recommandé, il y a un service de navette pour l'embarcadère.

服務非常熱情，食物很不錯，泰式美味。如果可以儘量訂villa，觀景和私人泳池都很不錯，小眾旅遊，遊客不多，可以放空一切自由享受。

This resort is truly amazing. The service is fantastic! They arranged everything detail . Our plane arrived after the boats stop running for the day. They arranged a private after hours boat to bring us to the island. When we arrived it was if they were waiting just for us, they hurried down the stairs to meet us with a fantastic welcome drink. They arranged all excursions and massages. We felt like our experience was their number one priority. Highly recommended for those who want privacy and off the beaten path!

Purana Resort on Koh Yao Noi is easily one of the best resorts we've stayed at. We stayed in the beach front bungalows for five nights, which were really comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony to relax, and to enjoy the fantastic views, especially for the picturesque sunsets! We also enjoyed the swimming pool, which was great for cooling down in the afternoons. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly, helping to organise transfers, bike hire and a really enjoyable private boat trip to Hong Island. The service was impeccable. We loved the food and drink throughout our stay, including the best piña colada cocktails on the island, and the most delicious prawns and curries at dinner. The hotel villas are situated on a forested hillside overlooking a beautiful bay. The villas are beautifully decorated and comfortable with a deck for enjoying the exquisite surroundings. The hotel beach has a tiki bar with decks that are perfectly situated to watch the set set. The restaurant serves 5 star cuisine and overlooks a butterfly garden that is a peaceful setting for breakfast. The hotel property is quiet and the cool ocean breezes are relaxing. The staff is very attentive to ensure that you have the perfect stay. Motor scooters and bicycles are available for rent to explore the island. A perfect getaway.

The best hotel in our entire visit to Thailand. We stayed in Villa 2 with the infinity pool and the most incredible views. Sumai, and the other amazing members of the team could not do enough for us. We spent 4 nights and could have stayed way longer. We ordered several times from the restaurant and the highlight was the green curry and the chicken roti, delicious! The resort overlooks a beach which isn’t suitable for swimming but we hired a scooter to explore, and found some lovely beaches on the other side of the island. The island is still very unspoilt so it was great to visit and appreciate the villages and countryside. We also went on a private longboat trip which we organised through the hotel. Sumai and the team were up early and insisted on making us a packed breakfast and lunch to take with us. We felt very well looked after from start to finish and we will definitely make sure we visit next time we travel to Thailand.

We had a great stay in a Garden Villa - beautiful, clean and comfortable Villa. Loved spending time on the patio, the hotel even delivered us dinner one night to eat on our private patio. Breakfast is delicious with lots of options. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. Beach bar is cute with chairs to relax and enjoy an afternoon or evening cocktail. Location is the only potential downside to be aware of - most restaurants and sandy beaches to swim and spend time on the beach are on the east side of the island. If you are comfortable motor biking which we are, it wasn’t a problem to motorbike 15 minutes across the island or into the small town. You can rent a motorbike directly from the hotel. But the location is quiet and beautiful!

We spent 5 fantastic nights at Villa 2 and everything you read here is true… so here are more practical tips to make your stay more enjoyable… Getting there - we used vecay taxi website to book transfer from airport to Bang Rong pier, cheaper than Grab app. They were waiting at the airport arrival and the 30 min transfer was smooth ( read my Bang Rong Pier review). At Bang Rong, you can either pre book your tickets online or just buy there which is about USD $2 cheaper. Let Purana know of you arrival time and they will pick u up from either Manoh or Laem Sai pier on the island. Stay- For absolute privacy, get either Villa 1 ( bigger) or 2 ( quieter). Both offer privacy with the pools surrounded by forest and great views of the water and island. With the forest comes the ants and small insects so beware of leaving food outside. Villa 8 is also quite private but is closer to the road, though the traffic is hardly there as Purana is on the quieter side of Yao Noi. The seaside villas gets you closer to the sea sounds, but as there is a small beach bar nearby, May not offer as much privacy during the high peak months. The beach itself is rocky and not suitable for kids. Eat- Purana has a small kitchen offering local favourites throughout most of the day for in room dining, and the breakfast is as advertised- fantastic! If you want a bit more variety, there is a small family restaurant across the road, but quality may vary. Alternatively, try Prabus Restaurant a short 5 min ride away ( rent in-house bikes or ask for hotel transport if they are available) Great food and prices, and at high tide the pier offers great views too.
