I don’t often write reviews, but always use them to make choices when looking to stay here. I booked this hotel to stay at for my son’s 10th birthday in January 2024. The room I booked was no refundable, but having read reviews I was happy to take the risk. 2 hours before we were due to travel there we received an email to say that their pool was closed due to unplanned renovations. Let’s be honest, this is the hotels only real selling point and the whole reason I booked it in the first place. Disappointed, we had no choice but to travel to the hotel to discuss things with their team in person. Arriving at the hotel it was a mess, almost looked derelict. Whoever took their hotel photos needs a pay rise, put it that way. It was clear that the work wasn’t unplanned, and in fact had been going on for some time. Letting guests know on the day they travel is obviously a ploy to prevent confrontation. We were told that we had the use of a pool at their sister hotel, 15 minutes away by shuttle. This runs every 2/3 hours. Not the fairy tail birthday I had in mind for my son if I’m honest. To compound things, the hotel refused to refund me my money and I had to pay again to stay at a hotel that was able to provide the facilities it promised. Looking back at the hotel, there were clear signs. They haven’t had a positive review since 2021, that tells its own story. If you are thinking of staying here, please don’t. Hôtel agréable mais aucune chambre n'a de fenêtre donc une grosse odeur de renfermé, de moisi. Les serviettes qui ne sèchent pas... Attention il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner, c'est un bon d'achat de 100 baths sachant qu'un expresso coûte déjà 65. Arnaque !

L'espace extérieur est très agréable. Le personnel très sympathique. Les chambres sont malheureu*****t très, très simples. Le lit est trop petit pour deux personnes minces. La climatisation était si bruyante qu'on ne pouvait pas dormir. Au début, nous avions une chambre au-dessus de la cuisine et malheureu*****t nous ne pouvions pas utiliser le balcon car c'était trop bruyant et malodorant. Nous avons ensuite changé de chambre. Ici aussi, le personnel était très courtois et gentil.

We stayed here for 6 nights. in January 2023. Staff were friendly, respectful, accommodating & wanted to make our stay wonderful. Special thanks to a lady who ensured our room was really special and cleaned. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was awesome and an old man was there, paying attention to all the guests. The hotel in ideally located right on a road opposite of Chaweng Noi beach that is very quiet and amazing place to suntan and relax. A seven eleven is near by the Hotel just 10 min walk. it is 100 Baht to take into the town center by tuk tuk. We rent a motorbike from the hotel which was brand new and we did not need to pay for a taxi anymore. The hotel restaurant offers a variety of foods & overlooks a nice pool with lovely setting. I would definitely come back here & would recommend it without hesitation. Thank you Chaweng Noi Pool Villa for an amazing holiday.

L hôtel est très confortable, le personnel est très sympathique et disponible, ils font tout ce qui est possible pour vous faciliter le Séjour Un grand bravo à Jiffima pour sa gentillesse et dispo au petit déjeuner Si nous revenons à samui cela sera certainement au Sheraton La Plage est magnifique, le Bar et restaurant très bien Pas Trop excentré ce qui permet d’être rapidement en ville Sans en avoir le bruit Chambre confortable et toujours propre Très beau parc

Thank you to all of our beautiful friends/staff at Baan Samui Resort for our recent stay. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel so welcome and to cater to your needs. The resort has a beautiful, relaxing vibe which is exactly what we were looking for. The rooms are newly renovated and very clean, perfect for us!! Food and beverage is of a high standard with lots of variety if you wish to dine at the resort or order room service. The resort is in a great location, close by to shopping mall and mini supermarket, pubs and restaurants. The staff at the resort really look after their guests and this is what keeps us coming back. My recent stay at the hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. The hotel exuded a warm and welcoming ambiance, setting the stage for a memorable experience. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking ocean view from my room. It was a true feast for the eyes, and the fact that I received a complimentary upgrade to an even greater view was a delightful surprise. The breakfast served was both clean and satisfying. The hotel's location was a true gem, conveniently situated near the bustling Fisherman's Village and other popular tourist destinations. Exploring the area was a breeze, and I loved the proximity to these attractions. Although there was construction taking place in the neighboring building, I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't disrupt my stay. The workers adhered to a schedule that allowed for peaceful nights and a quiet start to the day after 9:00 am. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the incredible value for money. u samui offers a fantastic experience at a very reasonable price. The clean and well-maintained facilities combined with the breathtaking views make it the best choice among the hotels I've stayed in Samui.

Overall, Lanna Hotel is a nice place for long-term stays, especially considering the great deals they offer for monthly rates. It is situated in a quiet residential area, although there may not be many attractions or amenities in the immediate vicinity. However, it is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive away from Fisherman's Village or Chaweng, where there are more options for dining and entertainment. The rooms at Lanna Hotel provide good Wi-Fi connectivity and boast beautiful decor. The common areas are well-maintained, and the staff, especially the reception staff, are very nice and helpful. They assisted us a lot when we lost our credit card, and they were accommodating to our every request. However, during our month-long stay, we noticed a few drawbacks that we would like to point out in the hopes that they will consider them and make improvements. Smoking: Smoking is allowed in every corner of the hotel, which can be especially annoying when sitting in the restaurant and trying to eat while being exposed to smoke. When we asked the waitress to request that people not smoke in the restaurant, they refused to interfere. We suggest creating a designated smoking area that is far away from common areas. Restaurant: Prices - The restaurant prices are significantly high. A simple Pad Thai dish costs three to four times more than in a regular thai restaurant, and they add service charges and taxes. Every meal cost us about 800 bhat for 2. Dishes - The Mediterranean dishes at the restaurant are not good. Coming from a Mediterranean country, we can say that the taste of these dishes is not authentic. We tried a few times and gave up. Plastic - Please consider reducing the use of plastic straws. Guests can request a straw if needed, and it would be beneficial to use paper straws. It would contribute positively to the environment. Impractical design - The restaurant and gym at Lanna Hotel have beautifully designed glass ceilings, which are impractical in sunny and hot Thailand. It becomes uncomfortably hot to fully enjoy the restaurant or gym. Please consider finding a way to cover the ceiling. Additionally, having a restaurant without air conditioning in Thailand can be challenging. Internet: The internet quality in the common areas is not good. It was difficult to work outside the room due to the heat, and the Wi-Fi that was often faulty. Since there are many digital nomads staying here and fewer children, we suggest converting the kids' room into a co-working space with air conditioning and fiber Wi-Fi. Activities: We expected Lanna Hotel to offer more activities for long-term residents or digital nomads. However, they only provide early morning yoga sessions. Therefore, we feel that there is not much added value for digital nomads staying here. Other than these few drawbacks, Lanna Hotel is a charming place with modern conveniences. We reccomend to stay here if the price is compatible, as there are other, more well located hote

En voyageant sur l'île de Samui en Thaïlande, ils ont séjourné à la première maison de Samui 3* sur la plage de Chaveng Noi, sur le côté est de l'île en mars 2020. Sur la première ligne au début de la plage. Vous pouvez toujours prendre des chedrons avec des parapluies juste à l'opposé de l'eau, il y a de gros walnuts qui jouent le rôle des vagues. Le poète nage très confortable. En plus de ceux-ci, vous pouvez prendre des snorkeling, regarder les poissons. La plage est grande. Il est agréable de marcher le long du sable le long de la mer. La mer est chaude, transparente de l'eau de turquoise. Vivre dans un deluxe au deuxième étage avec vue sur la mer. La chambre est bonne, il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin, même un lit supplémentaire. La salle de bains est une douche. Il y a une piscine. Le restaurant serve une table suédoise pour le petit déjeuner, Choice est petite, mais vous ne devez pas rester faim. Il y a une infrastructure près de l'hôtel. Café, Family Mart, salle de spa. Au centre de Chavenga vous pouvez partir sur un tuck-tuck pour 20 b. Un petit hôtel avec la meilleure position. Proximité sont 4.5* hôtels qui ne sont pas différents. Pourquoi payer trop? Je le recommande à tout le monde.

I stayed here 13 years ago and in returning, it has a new more modern wing built onto it. We stayed in a beachside bungalow at approx £35 a night, stunning value. Sea view and doors open onto a lovely pool. The hotel is situated in a quieter area of samui but Cheweng is around 10 minutes away in a taxi. As Thailand prices go, the taxis are fairly expensive, around 300 baht one way. We will deffo be back to this hotel, its great value. The hotel also rents out mopeds at 250 baht a day.
