Gedateerd, maar zeer goed onderhouden hotel. Simpel maar prima ontbijt. Heerlijk zwembad met prima bedden en parasols, maar ook de poolbar met lekker eten (sandwich/hamburger/pita gyros). Loopafstand naar de “strip” van Tigaki, waar de winkeltjes en restaurants zitten. Aanrader!

Got back two weeks ago. What a gem of a hotel. Perfect location. Just ten minutes from the beach & the restaurants. Lovely & quiet at night, overlooking the salt lake. The gardens are pool area are immaculate. Plenty of sunbeds with a lovely pool bar that does lovely snacks. This is a family run hotel and staff are amazing, with a special thanks to Gabriela on reception and Pantelis at the pool bar, who gave amazing service. The apartments are spotlessly clean with clean sheets and towels changed regularly. The beds are comfy. The buffy breakfast is really good, either continental or English and you can eat outside on the sunny terrace, or eat inside. Overall a fantastic holiday and will definitely be coming back.

A one week stay in late September. The courtesy and friendliness of the staff could not be faulted, perhaps the best feature of our stay. The rooms are a bit basic, but with everything you need, plenty of storage space, comfortable bed, adequate bathroom except for the nylon shower curtain which did cling a bit when you were taking a shower. The hotel site is excellent, a short walk to the town, on site a very decent size pool with plenty of sun loungers, shady areas perhaps a bit lacking. The gardens are lovely with the 4 or 5 bedroom blocks dotted around and definitely not crowded in on each other. Breakfast was definitely not a high point, a very basic buffet, mini frankfurter sausages swimming in water were not a good look. Most disappointing was the complete lack of fresh fruit, apart from a few slices of water melon, otherwise it was slices of tinned pineapple or peach. Seems like not a lot of imagination or thought went into the breakfast catering. The hotel does not have a restaurant, it has a snack bar which is ideal for a poolside lunch or drink, but does not cater even for a decent evening meal. However, there are several very good restaurants within a short walk. It is what it says it is, a good basic three star hotel.

We've just returned from a week at this lovely hotel. We had a standard room, which was basic but had everything needed, comfy beds, TV, shower and bath, air con, fridge, safe and even toiletries. Towels were changed daily upon request. Breakfast was 'fine' . Basic continental plus sausages, bacon and eggs. The pool area, like the rest of the hotel, was spotless. There were plenty of comfy beds available. Remember to bring your beach towel! Service at the pool side bar was 5 star! Thank you! Drinks and food were delicious! I recommend the Greek pizza! The hotel is a 5 min walk away from the centre, where there are plenty of bars and restaurants, but none too rowdy. We particularly enjoyed our time at Memories bar and the King Size beach. I throughly recommend this little gem hotel .

Absolutely wonderful place to stay . Immaculate in every area , rooms are dated but cleaned and fresh towels provided every day of your stay , the pool area is beautiful with ample comfortable sun beds , never over busy . Breakfast is adequate , although the addition of a toaster machine would be beneficial .The staff are all extremely friendly , and the location is perfect just quietly out the way , but only a short stroll to everything . We shall definitely return to this lovely place .

Beautiful , well kept and clean. Tranquil, relaxing environment. Nice spacious pool area where always was space despite hotel was full. Great pool Bar with very friendly and professional service by Patelis - you always felt welcome. Food served delicious basics , large proportions. Hotel rooms very tidy, cleaned daily and lovely soft towels also replaced. Self controlled airconditioning and fridge in the rooms made stay very pleasant together with good beds and pillows. Terrace facing to well kept garden was great plus. Staff was friendly and even the cats staying in the area behaved well and highlighted the overall nice athmosphere. Good beaches , especially Happy Flamingo, and choice of restaurants within walking distance. I will come back!

Group of 10 of us ....but never struggled for sunbeds.....fabulous staff (big shout out to Padaleis...Anthi....and Nicki.. apologies for spelling!)...always friendly, helpful, and great fun.... lovely pool/pool area and ideal location for bars/shops etc.... rooms/beds were comfortable .........would highly recommend... thankyou.....x

So, it's time to finally say how worthwhile it is to spend your holidays at TIGAKI'S STAR. Apart from the beautiful and well-kept family-run hotel complex, the friendly staff are particularly worth mentioning. You feel at home in Greece from the very first moment. In addition to the extensive breakfast, you can also enjoy local specialties at the pool bar at any time.

Great Hotel. The staff are the best part of this Hotel they really are all very friendly and helpful. The Rooms are very clean and are serviced daily. They are spacious as apartment rooms go and the balcony is a good size. Bathroom is good except for the old type shower curtain which is a bit annoying. They have a kettle in the room which was great. The pool are is great and never had a problem getting sun beds and again very clean. Pool bar is great and the food at it is good and has a well stocked bar. It stays open late every night. Think one nights entertainment a week would be a good idea here though. Breakfast was okay but could do with bit of variety and bit more fresh fruit but it was adequate. Hotel was good value for the area and only around 8 mins walk to the beach or the town. Roads are well lit up at night as well. Its a nice quiet hotel which is beside the SaltLake. Would stay here again.
