Mara Simba Lodge

Ce lodge était notre première étape de notre tournée au Kenya. C'est pourquoi nous n'avions pas d'idées concrètes sur la qualité des hôtels au Kenya. Nous avons été très agréablement surpris de voir à quel point le complexe et surtout le bâtiment principal sont spacieux. Les chambres sont confortables - nous en avions une au dernier étage. le personnel est incroyablement sympathique et sort toujours de la cuisine en chantant les anniversaires. la nourriture est abondante et très savoureuse, même pour nous les végétariens. sur la rivière derrière la maison, nous pouvions voir des hippopotames et des crocodiles. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce gîte sans réserve.

A quaint cosy lodge nestled in the midst of Masai Mara. We were greeted warmly by the friendly staff. They all spoke good English. We were attended to by Mr. Manoah at the dining area who had us sit by the table facing the river, the view , a different hue of colours as the day passed. The food was delicious and there was a surprising number of Indian dishes , vegetarian, at that to cater for the Indians- the food was absolutely delicious ! The local dishes were good too. The masala tea, was my favorite! I picked up some souvenirs from the gift shop which were reasonably priced. The sunrise here is amazing! At night, we’re were escorted back to our rooms by the staff. The staff were always friendly & courteous. A special thank you to Mr. Manoah, staff at the reception, the Cook, and all the staff at the restaurant & bar!

Great lodge...our 1st stop out of Nairobi on our 7day (out of 3.5 weeks in Africa) safari tour arranged by Flying DoveTours. The lodge was very comfortable with good food friendly services and L,D and breakfast included. Rooms were comfortable and cozy as your in the famous Masai Mara game Reserve. Our guide was determined to show us the Big 5..and he did not disappoint. It's an early rise and shine to get out to the savannahs for game spotting and be prepared for bumpy roads.. You must experience a safari at least once in your life and we can recommend Mara Simba Lodge anytime along with Flying Dove Tours opps from Mombasa.

Seven star staff and service and great facility. Viola and Jackson and the entire staff is super nice and take care of you well. Viola personally took care of our Jain food need. Ambience is superb, food is tasty. Even the picnic lunch they gave was so good. Will come back again if possible.

Location is fantastic, rooms are spacious and very clean, food is very fresh and e no enough variety, staff at Samburu Simba Lodge led by Kazungu are professional and welcoming . Staff at Mara Simba led by Mr. Koileken and Mr. Sitara were great, very professional, helpful and welcoming. We could see crocodiles and hippos at the Talek river from our dinning and bar every day

A sympathetically designed and built hotel with separate lodges, set within the amazing Masai Mara Game Reserve. The food was fine, buffet style but good. Rooms clean, well presented and functional. A calm and mostly quiet atmosphere and if, like us, you are lucky enough to sit at the end of the restaurant, overlooking the river, you can see crocodiles and hippos. Take plenty of mozzy spray, being where it is there is a proliferation of flying, biting insects. I would recommend this hotel if you are on safari in the Masai Mara.
